“Coffee culture and people. Interesting articles covering different topics through coffee - sustainability, environmental protection, counties economic and political development, human body and psychology. I’m eagerly waiting for every issues.”
“The magazine is very well printed, the content is very informative and the design is great, I really like the Shout section of the mag it is very interesting to read, and most of the times I agree with the content and points of views almost always. I really like the mag”
“It’s perfect in every single detail. And it’s fun and serious and different from any other independent magazines. Proper beautiful coffee table magazine.”
“I am really enjoying this issue of Standart. It is my first one and it is beautiful. The humbleness from the editors perspective, the great stories of Thailand coffee to all the beautiful pics. It is great! I hope some day you can write a piece of the booming coffee culture that has hit the small city of Duluth in the Northland of Minnesota. It can all be pointed to one of the biggest community and cultural movers which is Duluth Coffee Company, from there spawned several specialty coffee roasters. A community that has shared roasters to help get other shops to where they are today, a beautiful story of love. Underwood Coffee Roaster, Dream Cloud Coffee Roaster and Almanac. Others include Fika more up the shore and Alakaf. Duluth Coffee Company has helping small coffee shops in the region build, get trained in, and educated on what coffee is. Specialty people and conscious of the supply chain all the way to the grower. I really think there’s a great story here and I would be happy to connect you with everyone. I have no vested interest in any of these companies except for the love that they have given our community. We’re the city of ~90,000 people but With a really small town feel.”
“Love my first edition. I would love slightly shorter articles and more of the brewing tips. It may just be me, and maybe nobody else agrees, but I don’t have time to read long articles - but I get it’s slow coffee and slow reading, but I just can’t get through the magazine without a few shorter articles.”
“At the beginning of magazine they stated that reading Standart is like visiting your favorite cafe and striking up a chance conversation. That's exactly how I felt reading it. I like the graphics. I love certain consistent parts - e.g. there is always an article about some coffee producing country, an interview with cafe owner/barista and one article describing coffee culture in a particular city.”
“The magazine arrived here in Brazil just a couple of weeks after the purchase, packed with the coffee sample (incredible, BTW). The magazine itself is an amazing piece of art, leveraging leisure moments. Definitely recommend it.”
“The purchase and shipping process was really smooth. I really liked the magazine and the coffee samples is a nice bonus...I just wished it was a bit more as 35grs is a little weird when it comes to splitting for a couples of recipes.”
“This latest issue especially captivated me! I lost my partner of 7 years in March and we bonded over our deep love of coffee, me mainly drinking good coffee and him, all the science behind it! I still subscribe to standard and find it gives me a great outlet to channel my love I shared with Anthony. Love how this issue came with some great decaf beans too as I’ve been drinking a few too many cups lately to help cope with grief”
“I have been a subscriber for over a year and have loved every bit of it. Great, beautifully designed, very well written and creative! The coffee samples are also always a true delight!”
