Hi Javier! Oh no — that doesn’t sound right! Could you please email us at office@standartmag.com? I see that your copy was shipped back in March, which is well beyond the usual delivery timeframe for Colombia. We’ll be happy to sort this out for you as quickly as possible.

“Every time the new book is in my postbox I start smiling again. I just love the changing topics and deep dives into the coffee world as much as I love the design of the book itself.”
“I’ve enjoyed getting standart delivered to my mailbox every few months, especially with coffee samples. I was disappointed that my bag of coffee had burst open in this latest delivery however. Appears that one part of the coffee bag wasn’t sealed properly :(”
Hey Chad! Thank you so much for stopping by to leave a review. I am very sorry that the coffee pouch burst. It seems to be because the beans were very freshly roasted when we packed them, so more gas was trapped than expected.
I've just placed a shipping order for a replacement and something extra from us as an apology.
Thank you very much for your cooperation, and have a great rest of your week!

“It seems like Standart really listened to their last survey. The best parts of Standart are interviews with producers and perspectives on regions, getting professionals to talk about industry trends, and yes the slightly avante-garde artsy takes they have on subjects. The coffee samples are almost just a bonus. Some old issues would go too far into the trope of "millennial woman photographing herself with the subject maybe vaguely referenced". The newest issue is way more about artists expressing viewpoints on coffee. Like the photo series of coffee shop backrooms and bathrooms. That's absolutely what I want to see from Standart. The future looks bright. Part sociology, part industry mag, part art book. I love it.”

“Issue 37 was one of the best I’ve seen in the last 3 years. Well thought out, very interesting and informative articles.
Issue 38 - not very good at all. Lecturing the reader, page after page about cafe cleanliness felt like the copy editor was angry, and took it out on all of us. The photos were unappealing, and teaching a barista how to clean their workspace is not what I care to see.”
Hi John,
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts — we really appreciate it. We're glad to hear that Issue 37 resonated with you so strongly, and it’s great to know those articles left a lasting impression.
We're sorry that Issue 38 didn’t meet your expectations. Your feedback about the tone and focus is noted and will be shared with the editorial team. Insights like yours help us do better.
Thanks again for being part of the Standart community — we truly value your perspective.

“The content is valuable. It feels like a piece of art. Also, I think it could be more useful too. Right now, it’s very editorial. I’d love to see more practical stuff. Articles that help me do something. Maybe recipes, methods, or tips.”
Hello, Oscar,
Thanks for the feedback — very well noted. We're exploring ways to bring in more practical content alongside the editorial. Recipes, methods, and actionable tips are definitely on our radar. By the way, you can find some amazing technical tips and tricks in our Online Community too!
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and your support.

“This edition has two articles that captured my attention: "Rethinking the shot" of our dear Andre Eiermann and Kopi Luwak, magic and morals.
Every edition brings me knowledge around coffee, and I cannot stop enjoying it.”
“The content is great, there are two things i would like to see for a full 5-star experience:
One, pictures that support the texts. Often i see pictures that don’t add to the text or i see references to cafe’s/locations in the text and no pictures of said location where it would fit.
And the second, more information on pictures like when there is a photo of a cafe/person/location information on who/what/where we are.”
“Standard is a magazine for coffee lovers and people who love art and life in general. It shines light from the first page to the last one. I love it; it's my favourite magazine. It always has a little extra to surprise its readers. In addition to coffee samples from all over the world, sometimes you might find a ticket to a raffle, stickers, magnets, or postcards that make sense and make you smile!
Thank you, Standart!”
“The first 2 articles in this issue already made it very clear again what an outstanding and unusual coffee publication the Standart is. What a fascinating read!”
