“I look forward to having every issue of Standart magazine in my hand. It is without doubt the most aesthetically pleasing and informative magazine, as it connects both coffee and a beautiful aesthetic. It's hard to describe that tactile quality of holding, a beautifully constructed magazine. I am always intrigued by the articles as they take me to places that I would have never ventured on my own. It is not filled with gadget sales rubbish from influential produces. For that, I am grateful. A great joy for me and thank you to the team to produce it. James”
“I want to see changes to the magazine cover. The design style, such as photos used and covers of of Standart magagines seems to have veered into a very different style. Not very inviting to me. I also feel the content has been a bit flat. Unlike what I got over 2 years ago. I know I probably won't make you change but I can make a change to my subscription easily.”
“I've only read the first two articles, just skimmmed the rest so far. I wasn't expecting to enjoy the first two articles, but how wrong I was. The interview with Celesty was excellent and revelatory, and it was perfectly complemented by Sabine Parrrish's. Both full of insight, and giving me a surface understanding of an area of the planet I knew little or nothing about. Absolutely brilliant, thank you !”
“Nice Edition, loved the coffe, the filters and the overall format presentation.
My favourite section is the interview with admirable people talking about their passion for coffee.
Not being a professional barista myself, I would love to read about musicians, artists, architects, etc talking about their introduction into the speciality coffee world.”
“I would have rate higher in the past, because Standart was a good balanced mix of accessible scientific articles, origin stories explaining well the background of the country, and some more lifestyle articles. Now it is getting mostly on the last one, mostly showcasing personalities. I feel less interesting and complete than before.”
Hey Philippe! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I see that you miss the balance of scientific, origin, and lifestyle pieces. For me, our features based on personal narratives often explore these themes, just in a different way—through lived experiences rather than a purely analytical lens. That said, I completely understand that this approach might not resonate as strongly with you.
We really appreciate your feedback, and if you’d like to share more thoughts, feel free to reach out at office@standartmag.com. Standart is always evolving, and your input helps shape it in a very direct way.

“Standart just simply came to change my perspective about coffee. This is more than a magazine is also a community where coffee lovers, farmers and artist converge. The edition, the photography and the printing are simply pristine. Finally, having a sample monthly just inspirme me to discover more about that beautiful drink.”
“The magazine, has a lot of really interesting stories and provides a very unique experience.
Unfortunately, the entire online community aspect feels not really thought through. Has a lot of really interesting stories and provides a very unique experience.
Unfortunately, the entire online community aspect feels not really thought through. It felt as a quick afterthought with the price increase of the magazine.”
