A shame the shop has gone, I did like to browse and ask for opinions. However, you can pick up from the warehouse and I've turned a up before my order was ready amd the guys happily went and picked it for me.

Since my local tackle shop sadly closed I looked for an online supplier. Have used Tackle UK several times and am pleased with the product range and service. Free c&p on orders over £20 is a bonus.

Recently purchased a Korum deluxe X25 chair (not cheap). Chair arrived but unfortunately did not contain any assembly instructions. Managed to put chair together but I now have four black plastic tubes which do not appear to fit anywhere. I suspect they may be protectors for fitting athe star grip system as it is not obvious from all the pictures I have reviewed online where these should fit. My concern is that they are some sort of spacer for the leg assembly and I may be doing some damage without realising it.

Purcahsed a Guru Fusion Base - all fine, dispatched on time .... great. Sent with DHL which is where it started going wrong..... 4 alleged delivery attempts, then stuck in warehouse, then nobody knows. The ticket system for order queries is far too slow - a reply once a day if lucky. Didnt want to refund - they need to understand the Consumer Rights Act - i do !!!!!. Refund processed but Ash the owner is far too busy to talk to a customer.... mmmm customer service seems to be missing Shame really as up till today they had always been great

Item arrived quickly, however, the item wasn't suitable and the company had no facility for me to return it. I had to luh a large, heavy box to the local post office and pay £16.40 to send by Parcel Force.

This shop was once customer dedicated in the physical sense. The service, knowledge and approachability of the original owner was what made me spend money there gladly. He was in business 20 years. Now it seems run for the online warehousing side of things and the angler coming in for supplies expecting customer service will leave disappointed in my experience. The quality of the coarse bait is poor, and is often unavailable. Trying to get a staff member to help you locate / understand coarse tackle is difficult as they only seem interested in the carp side of it. The prices are as high as I've paid in any other shop and there are no discounts for big spends like it used to be. The owners of this place know nothing about Somerset and local angling and so Yeovil is effectively without a shop anglers can spend time in and get some good advice, the human touch and treated with value. The problem lies with the young staff and their lack of approachability. They're always somewhere else, off-hand or dealing with packing tackle for internet orders. It is carp, carp, carp and you feel alienated if into other branches of the sport. Avoid it if you can.

They sent out a delivery late and when it arrived had a damaged item, refused to let me return the single item and wanted me to pay to return the whole order. Basically the worst service I have experienced when it goes wrong just rude and don,t tell the truth. Simply shop else where! Be warned!

Terrible customer service after 6 phone calls ordered 21dec and paid next day delivery item apparently will be delivered today 4th jan no compensation for extra postage I paid get the impresssion from the helpline they couldn’t give a stuff just fob you off any issues take it up with the manager I would if I could opened a ticket for a complaint heard nothing my advice steer clear avoid like the plague use angling direct or Glasgow angling centre at least these are reputable companies not lying theives

Abysmal customer service, after previously being happy with how quick my items arrived, when I went to use the floats I realized one was faulty. I disposed of the float assuming that tackle uk would be happy to replace the item without any questions asked since it was of little monetary value. But no they say they'd need to inspect the float first. Probably something they should of done before shipping them to me. The worst customer service I've ever dealt with I wont be using again.

I should have read the reviews for this company ,I have ordered before, should have learnt from my first experience, I ordered frozen bait when it arrived it was useless ,phoned tackleuk the response was just refreeze it ,just went in the bin advice is use anybody but this company
