“Very poor customer service! You have to ring loads of times to get hold of them and when they do you can't understand a word they're saying because of their accent (not English, that's for sure).”

“DON'T USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! THEY ARE CROOKS! Very friendly at first but when once they received my tax rebate from the tax office, they just wouldn't transfer the money over to me... which is MY money in the first place, not theirs! First they changed the initial date for my payment, then they failed to transfer the money on the second date (3 weeks later), and so on for about 6 months! They always had an excuse (someone was off sick; they had email issues; they didn't have my bank details although I have proof that I filled in the paperwork correctly, etc.) when in effect they were just delaying tactics. They finally transferred my tax refund over after I complained to the tax office (HMRC), who were very helpful. If I hadn't complained to the tax office, I'd still be waiting for my money...”

“Dishonest, disgusting company! They kept hold of MY money for more than 3 months! They kept changing the date for my payment and didn't return any of my calls or emails when I tried to inquire why. I checked with HMRC, who confirmed that Taxrefundpro had received my tax refund on 21st October 2016. I had to involve a solicitor to finally receive my tax refund (minus their commission) on 7th February 2017. Turns out they are being investigated by HMRC for using clients' tax refunds to pay their fines. Don't trust them, you're better off dealing with HMRC directly.”

“Avoid this company Shambles of a company would advise anyone against using this company. Terrible experience.i put my claim in on the 15th August and that was just getting my money. 6-12 weeks my arse! Was given three different dates when I was going to get my claim into my bank. If you want someone to do a tax refund dont use these clowns First issue I was told I was getting half my claim, then was set a date, the date came and went, second date came and went I had to constantly phone and even contacted the hmrc myself then was given a correct amount and even then I had to argue to get my money And the accountant they tell you to contact never returns calls when he says he will Just plain avoid this company if you don't want the hassle”

“Would not recommend them that have my money since 21of September I rang them on the 28 of September they gave me a payment date of the 19th of October on the 19th I rang them first thing they sed someone will ring between 3-5 and no one rang me. I rang them on the 20th and they told me my payment date is the 9th of November I asked them why it change they sed they would get bk to me and never did. I rang them again to find out what was going on and they told me my payment date was the 19th of November and its always been that date. I rang again and asked to speak to the manger he sed he would would look in to it and I would be paid on the 9th of November and still no payment. Rang the manger on the 10th of November he told me to ring the person in charge of payments so rang him and he told me my payment date is the 30th of November. I keep asking them why the date keeps changing and the just tell me they will look into it and call me bk. they should be calling me back later today I won't hold my breath. I will be seeking legal advice this weekend”

“My claim was submitted on 30th June to HMRC by taxrefundpro with 6 weeks of timeframe to get money paid to me. It's been more than 8 weeks haven't got anything. They don't even bother to reply to emails. Seems like a fraud company”

“I submitted all the info needed for my claim and was quoted 5 - 6 weeks to hear back from them. This was on 4th February and we're now at 13th May and I haven't had a pay out or any contact. I'm worried they've claimed my money and kept it for themselves.”

Hi Nathan, I've reviewed your case file and I can see that you received a good sized refund of which our fee was only a small percentage (15% + VAT as agreed). I can assure you that there is much more involved than just sitting at a desk to calculate your money especially as we worked all 4 tax years for you and pushed to get your refund in time for the Xmas period. Unfortunately after reading your notes there is no indication that you were in any way unhappy with the service you received, all our fee's are stated up front and clearly shown in the claim pack that includes the contract that's signed and dated by our clients before we can proceed with the claim. We have recently undergone a review and our rates are very competitive within our industry. I'm unsure if your issue is related to the fact that you had to pay (this is a professional, not a free service after all) or that perhaps you underestimate the work involved in dealing with your case?
