About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

Feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or feedback you may have. I'd love to hear from you.

- Toby Gospodarczyk

I have only one concern why can't order larger packet instead of small. Small cost more .

I've bought marigold tea twice so far, but compared to the first one, this marigold is not fresh and it seems to have a lot of flavor.

I have bought tea from you twice the quality of your tea is very good the packaging quality but the last order I was disappointed because I was given something I didn’t ask for plus the ginger didn’t look like the images online

Thanks for the feedback opportunity. The tea is fine, delivery is fast, website is good - but packaging has gone down - it used to be resealable plastic (helpful but not good for environment), then it moved to paper based (better for environment) and resealable and now it's back to plastic and not resealable, so the worst of both worlds... Is it possible to return to paper resealable?

Hi Poppy, thank you for your feedback. In this case we've in a abit of an awkward transition in packaging but will stabilise over the year as more is packed in-house. On request we can do our best to accommodate your packaging preferences if you place that in the notes of the order. With our newer packaging without any resealable strip, this is actually the most eco friendly of the lot, being made of aluminium which is called 'the green metal'. https://www.livingwoodwindows.co.uk/so-why-is-aluminium-called-the-green-metal Able to be recycled near infinitely, a huge proportion of the aluminium ever made is still in existence and being continuously recycled. In terms of resealing the bags, we'll work out a solution for this soon too once we've sorted a few other things out here.

Thanks for your feedback! - This was from an emergency shipment from a very reputable oil fragrance company in France and I managed to procure some Mullein stock they had. - Different farms and locations will provide different looking herbs even if they’re the same species. You’ll see this with Chamomile, Rose, Nettle, Peppermint and many others. We do try to keep consistency when possible though. Apologies for any concern this time around with Mullein. The difference in look isn't an indicator of quality in this case.

good base tea but still needs more pungent bergamot character to be ideal for the Earl Grey style.

Hi Ian, thanks for your review! With Earl Grey this is actually the regular amount of bergamot to blend with - just that the flavour of the black tea is slightly muted due to the decaf process, which does affect the taste of the tea. This is the best we can get it for now, as adding more bergamot - even though it doesn't seem like it, will be too overpowering.

Very expensive for mediocre tea.

Hi Amy, thanks for your review - we've been overwhelmed by the 99% positive reviews we've recieved after doing our mailout just now and I do understand your review is a valid concern. Since we're a fairly new company, we don't invest in huge amounts of stock so our buy price is often a bit higher than others. However the main reason for our pricing is due to the quality of tea. We're often presented with many grades that go by time of harvest, leaf size, and so on. In almost all cases we'll go with the highest quality one. That being said, as we grow we've been able to reduce pricing for a number of teas which will continue well into 2020 and beyond. Over time we'll be able to remove 40g sizing and replace that with 80g for almost the same price. That has already happened for a number of teas starting with the chai range. Thanks for your patience as we continue to improve and grow!
