“Hello everyone, here is my experience with the company Tenvinilo from Barcelona.
To clarify, Tenvinilo or Tenstickers is the same company.
A few days ago, I received a package following an order made on tenstickers.fr.
I had ordered adhesive strips to stick on the sides of my camper van.
These strips were supposed to measure 10 meters by 7 cm for one, and 10 meters by 10 for the other.
I received 3 sheets on which 1 meter sections of these strips were stuck.
I had also ordered stickers depicting a lizard, whose dimensions indicated on their website turn out to be those of the backing paper, not the lizards themselves.
I immediately called customer service, who asked me to take pictures and write an email. After sending the email, I contacted customer service again for follow up. My email was transferred to management...
Researching the reputation of this company on Trustpilot in France: rating of 2.2/5
• "Products received damaged, crumpled or poor quality (pixelated printing, different colors than the photo, etc.)"
• "Products received in incorrect sizes (carpets cut in half, stickers too small, etc). Many customers were unaware the product would be delivered in multiple pieces."
• "Long delivery times, or even no delivery of ordered products"
• "Poor handling of returns and refunds: refusal to take back products even when defective, obligation for customer to return product at their expense"
• "Poor customer service: no response to emails, confused explanations about delivery issues, refusal to acknowledge errors"
• "Dubious business practices: customer accounts blocked after a bad review, ambiguous sales conditions"
• "High shipping costs, especially for overseas or international shipping"
In summary, many customers complain about the poor quality of products received and Tenstickers' very poor after-sales service, which often refuses to admit mistakes and find satisfactory solutions for the customer in case of problems.
My impression is that if my stickers were cut every meter it's because the machine used has a conveyor belt of that size to reduce production times by manufacturing them that way. Tenvinilo doesn't care if those stickers become unusable for the customer.
My impression is also that if my lizards are ridiculously small it's because the ambiguous dimensions on the website are not there by accident or error, as customer complaints on this date back several years without the site making any changes.
I have already encountered this type of company whose poor service is offset by special attention to its reputation. Observe the difference between the customer satisfaction score they display on their site, compared to the scores on independent sites. Also observe how each negative review receives a rebuttal from the "owner" on Google.
If you really want to do business with these people, you now know how you will be treated.”
“SCAMMERS! Rug sent cut in half apparently due to shipping reasons! Who the hell wants a rug where you have to stick it together?????? Complete scammers as wasn’t made clear when I ordered but they hide behind their terms of conditions and LIE. Wish I had seen all the reviews before buying. Now have a rug I can’t use as you can see the join! They told me to stick it together and should buys stickers to do this!!!!! Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous!! Reporting this company”
“You have to mail over and over and over and no one answwers - no updates on your order / status - but they can take your money - think it would only be fair if you pay if and when they deliver - customer after service sucks”
“I ordered a poster from Greece from 18/5 and we have 12/6 and I still haven't received it. They tell me it's at the post office in my area but when I went there the shipping number was wrong and they dont have anything on my name. I lost money and time.
Away!!!!”
“I wish I could give it 0/5!
There is obviously no quality check after the printing, the colours are totally wrong.
A waste of time and a waste of A$150.
No refund.
It ended up in the bin.”
“Terrible service. I placed an order which was not delivered. Royal mail advised me the parcel was lost and sent me info email. I contacted tenstickers who then blamed me for not picking up the parcel from depot even though it was never there for me to collect.I ask for a refund or replacement.I was told i would have to wait for the parcel to be delivered back to them and they would repost it, time limit 4/6 months. regarding refund, their responce to that was would i like another quote for a new order to be placed. Sending me a replacement order for the money i had already spent was not considered at all ...”
“After 3 weeks, I still haven't received my order and no one will respond to my emails. I'm so disappointed as this sticker was a surprise for my son's bedroom makeover and now I'll have a blank wall.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.”
“Awful company, wish I looked at the reviews first. Never received the item and no longer need as it’s been over 4 months! They still won’t give a refund. DONT ORDER, YOU PROBABLY WONT RECEIVE”
“The Tenstickers website appears to be from the UK - they advertise Royal Mail and they don't tell you they're actually based in Spain.
I ordered 11 rolls of wallpaper and paid the extra £21 for DHL Express delivery only to get a call form DHL two days later asking for £61 import duty.
Clearly Brexit isn't their fault (don't start me off!), but they have a duty to their customers to be transparent about where their products are coming from and what hidden/additional charges we should expect.
I've raised a complaint with them and await their response.”
“Stay away from this company! The flooring I ordered didn't end up working in the area I ordered it for. Sent it back to them in the same packaging they sent it to me in, exact address and phone number they gave me for the return. A month later, it comes back to me as undeliverable. I e-mailed the company explaining this. They basically said, we have to get the product back to give you a refund. So I'm now out the money I spent for the flooring AND the almost 60 bucks to send it back.”
“DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY THINK YOU WOULD LIKE A RUG CUT IN HALF FOR EASE OF DELIVERY.
I ordered a Christmas rug for the kitchen, my wife wanted it. It said free delivery. Ideal I thought. The rug turned up, cut in half! In what world, in what realm of fantasy did they think that I would want a rug that was cut in half. Buying online is similar to buying in a shop. I wouldn’t walk into a shop, and say “can I have that rug please, but before I take it, please rip it into two equal parts.” When I questioned them on it, they told me that’s how they send free post. They said it was in the checkout wording, it isn’t, otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered. After a great deal of me having a go at them thinking that is what anyone would want, a rug cut in half, I ended up contacting my bank to get my money back. If a product is not fit for purpose-a rug in 2 parts, under consumer rights and sales of goods act you can have a refund. So if this has happened to you, get your money back. These people are thieves.”
“Muito mau!! Eu cancelei a encomenda 2 dias antes de a enviarem e mesmo assim mandaram-me esperar ate eu receber a encomenda para que eu tenha que pagar os portes de envio para a Espanha! E o melhor ainda dizem que nao devolvem o custo de devolução o que e totalmente illegal!! Ja reportei esse comportamento a identidade reguladora!!
Ladroes do pior!”
“I bought a vinyl floor mat from tenstickers.co.uk thinking it was a UK company. It isn't but they pretend to be. Therefore, you will have to pay customs tax on anything you buy from them. The mat was supposed to be 1.8m wide. They sent it in 3 pieces. Garbage company, not to be trusted.”
