“If you are looking for a app that allows you to send multiple pictures to family and friends or suggest Christmas gift ideas including sending links from Amazon ect. This app is absolutely NOT for you. I am currently on a 24 hour band for sending too many Christmas gift ideas and have been on a 24 hour band before for sending multiple pics of the grandkids. Won't be using this app much longer!!!”

“My phone was cut off for non-payment through T-Mobile I found this app online and installed it and I love it it works when I have to wait a couple days to pay my bill way to go thank you guys”

“So when you're on a call. An ad pops up and your call drops. This is to encourage you buy a subscription to their service. An ad doesn't pop up on every call. But with impeccable timing on Textnow's behalf, just the calls where you're talking to your mom on her death bed. Or during a job interview .”

“I’ve been usi n this APP for over 3 years now and I have to tell you it hasn’t gotten any better from day 1…. Ads in the middle of your conversations you run out of talking minutes after 5 “free” minutes so then u have to PAY to even make a phone call you can text unlimited that’s the only good thing! ALSO THEY WILL BAND YOU AND DISCONTINUE YOUR ACCOUNT for the weirdest random reasons like they did me! After 3 years of being a LOYAL customer I copy and pasted a message so I didn’t have to REWRITE it a million times and they banned my account! In the middle of a conversation and texting 💬 let’s not forget to mention I use it for WORK purposes! So now the “number” everyone has for me people I was JUST texting can no longer contact me ! They said i violated their terms! I mean I know all APPs have their terms but really dude? Because I copy and pasted a message to 5 different people? I don’t think that’s a legit reason to delete a customers account but ok! Along with all the other things wrong with the APP. Not good for business!”

“DO NOT USE THIS APP esp if you're committing a low crime. These ppl will offer you up on a silver platter. You're safer using your own phone # then you are using this app BECAUSE all the police need to do is reverse phone-number look up, see that its an app phone # and TA DA! They call them up, ask for the phone #'s text message history and bam there it is. They don't even need a warrant the company will offer it, no hesitation. Plus they could still get your history with a warrant too. In my experience they never been able to get into apple phones without consent or the password. What messes with people is the phone company. They find out what service you have and then they get a warrant to seize your text message history. It's harder for them with your own phone number versus the apps. These Apps are not a secret. Don't even think about using it, you'll get caught so fast it'll make your head spin. The self destructing txt message apps are a safer option.”

“Horrible and not to mention frustration that comes with it. So many issues from calling, other person not hearing me properly, or not getting the call 🤙 just notification sound say missed call 🤙 the list goes on... They give you all the trouble shooting methods to try and still!!! 🙄 I read all the complaints with textnow and still issues exist. Our developers are working hard to address the issues? Not working hard enough it seems to me. Especially if your paying for it 😁 most annoying app and issues still exist years after!!! 🙄”

“I have had this app for years, and it has progressive gotten worse and worse, and worse, and now they downright have thiefs working for them... They took over $7 of my cash app account, it came off my card already but yet it's saying it's still pending. As long as it does that, I can not dispute the order!!!!! Then it asked you to send 13 different screen shots of where it shows it charged me, then one that shows my name, then one that shows this then that, and I couldn't find I've thing so I had to stop and find out and get back to them which I had to wait until the next day cause it was after 5.... So now I take a picture of what they want. I tried to go back and finish my dispute and now they won't give me a person and they are completely ignoring me.... You are scammers and I will be making a day researching every single company I can go to, private and government, to contact about this and get it investigated, I will also be contacting my local news and any other media I can to warm others of this, and I will follow this website until I die, or they pay me back... And make sure everyone knows what they do”

“I have an annual subscription from Textnow starts from Sept 2021 - Sept 2022. But on Feb 2022, they unilaterally denied the service. When I contacted their customer support person Jason, he refused to service and denied to refund the money. Pathetic.”

“Some days ( pretty much all the time now) just doesn't open for HOURS AND HOURS. just spins and spins. CONSTANTLY have to uninstall and reinstall ....used to very good. Now just junk. Can't stop using it tho Cuz I run my biz off the number for 2 yrs now.”

“I ordered a SIM card and paid for service to keep my number it stated that my phone was eligible when I got the SIM card it doesn't work if no one to call no one to talk to for help I've watched YouTube videos I follow directions and it still saying that it will not support my phone now I'm out 10 bucks”

“After five years of using this app and being general fine with the service I was terminated from it for violating their Terms of Service (ToS). They won't explain what I did or reinstate after chatting with them (no customer service number to call) but of course they're going to keep my money and Apple won't refund it either since it's been more than 60 days since my subscription renewal. Great little scam they and Apple have going on. Cut the service but keep the money. Then split the pot at the end for a nice payday. Don't get sucked into their scam world and save yourself the aggravation.”
