I wanted to clear something up...next to my previous positive review, it says "verified buyer". I didn't BUY anything. I only sat through the presentation. It was interesting and there were good points, but I did NOT buy anything nor did I want anyone to think that I was reviewing her actual product, just the webinar which was of course, to sell her product. In fact, I thought the review was for her team so that they could improve the information, as stated in the email I received, that read as follows... "I’ve had literally thousands of requests for a copy of the slides from today’s webinar, so I’m making them available for download. In exchange, I just ask you to take about 30 seconds to leave me a quick review about the training, so I can use your feedback to make each version of it even better, stronger, and more valuable for anyone who wants to make a difference with a book." So, the fact that she used that review about a sales webinar to promote how good her product was when I haven't actually seen it, is misleading. I'm now wary of all the positive reviews...

In 45 minutes I heard from her how wonderful she and her program was. Sharing testimonials was next. Not a single tip on what to actually do besides, stop feeling sorry for yourself, get up off your butt, and get motivated. Oh, and start marketing before you write. Nothing about how to do that or what the big "secret" was. I've sat through a number of "free" webinars this year and the pattern is quite recognizable now. I knew the big push for a very expensive "training" program was coming soon. The one thing I learned (this year) was to only attend sessions that are recommended by real people with whom I've been real friends...not FB "friends." So I had a weak moment and lost 45 minutes today...sigh...

I was unable to get into the webinar via my phone. I spent half an hour trying to figure out where to contact someone for assistance and still couldn't find any support. It is a shame as I had gotten up during the night to attend.

Unfornately, this wasn't a training. Angela has a great sales personality with the abilty to use & promote clients to hook new ones. Brilliant marketing techniques. But, the sad facts are that most will never make 6 figures this way, most won't sell more than a few hundred books, their publishers are only distributors who won't market them. & these people would be wise not to invest in any author program unless they already have the money & a steady job.

I went into the free masterclass with my pen ready to take notes, ready to learn. I only wrote down two things. There wasn’t much content in the 90minute class. Most of the time was spent telling success stories and selling a product. I felt like my time was really wasted. I understand it was free, but the experience made me not want to use any of the services offered because I really didn’t get a good impression.

1. Should not take that long to cover cost. Left after 1 hour into it and cost still wasn’t discussed. 2. After an application, then it’s reviewed by other authors to see if the individual has potential? Sounds like a popularity contest. 3. Sell before you write? Scam much? 4. One of your featured authors went through a program with its own marketing program for $18K. That wasn’t your program.

It's an interesting video to sell you on the idea, but you are required to give a review to get slides of what you saw, which are mostly quotes from others, and not any particular technique that makes you want to dive deeper into some kind of lesson. Also, there's no list of authors she works with available so you can look at their work and sales. I'm always high suspicious of 100% five star reviews and get rich quick. If people could do that, she would have people beating a path to her door and wouldn't really need to solicit new folks so that seems odd as well. I also see that a lot of the reviews are non standard names, so they read very generically like someone who is paid to write them or fake IDs used to create fake reviews.

Hi Anon, Sorry to hear you didn't take anything valuable away from the session. Just for your reference, Angela provides case studies and success stories from her clients at www.theauthorincubator.com/results and all of the reviews are real and legitimate. I know because I respond to every one of them personally. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, we hope to see you again soon. Wishing You Success in All your Ventures

There was no training. No tips on how to write a book. She talked more apbout filling out an application than anything. Your ad is very misleading. Many people were commenting they sent in apps and we never contacted. I'm no longer interested. Too much like a scam. Sure could have at least gave one training lesson, one step, but NOTHING, that's unacceptable in my opinion.

This was NOT a training, it was a ploy to market business. "Dr. Lauria" stated at the beginning that there was 90 minutes of content, but there was only about 5 minutes of useful information. The rest was a stroll down memory lane, and testimonials that I could have read on the site. I did not even get enough insight into why and how this actually works to feel comfortable enough to complete an application. Procrastinators beware. Dr. Lauria advised to sell the book before even writing it. So I asked, if you're a procrastinator, how does the author incubator program make sure your book is written by the deadline.... NO ANSWER!

The program stopped 5 minutes into the training, and there was no way to see it later. She promised slides - so I thought I could get the info that way, but the slides were conditional on a review. I gave her a 5 star review - still expecting to be shown something of value. Nothing. Now I am getting daily spam from her, but still nothing of value.
