“Always considerably cheaper than UK prices. Order online, it's on a palette waiting, courteous staff and pay in pounds, Stirling if you want to. What's not to like? It's so easy to get to and we usually make a day of it because the saving makes it worthwhile.”

“I love coming to CWS when I visit France. They always have a great range of wines at fantastically low prices. I have now got the hang of pre-ordering online so I know how much I'm spending before I go and everything's waiting for me on a trolley when I get there. I usually end up getting a few extras though as I can't resist a bargain. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Thank you.”

“What a cracking place it is, friendly & helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble. It's good that you can pre-order but then have the chance to try before you check out, if you don't like it swapping it is not a problem. The tasting area is great place to have a chat and critique the many wines that are under a fiver.”

“I am amazed at the lack of fuss when booking the crossing and ordering. The Wine Store's staff are second to none in their friendliness and welcoming attitude. It's a pleasure to shop at the Calais Wine Store and I sincerely hope that this Brexit nonsense does not cause the store to close. J'espère visiter Calais encore la nouvelle année et acheter plus de vin merveilleux de ce magasin.”

“...they seem to know their stuff...had little time to shop and taste and gave the lads the brief and bingo 12 cases back here and they are beautiful. 2 reds and a white. Still believe that reds should always be opened 2 hours before drinking and decanting esential...Paul”
