Is "London Mint Office" the same company and same quality products and services as "The Royal Mint" ?
Asked by Anon (7 years ago)
no i dont think so
Answered by terence cann (7 years ago)
No, polar opposites. One is high quality, whild the other aspires to reach such dizzy heights. If you want an investment, use the royal mint

When do custermers receive ingots that was ordered in DEC.2018
Asked by May pulham (7 years ago)
Often items never arrive but you do receive lots of excuses and threatening letters

What metal are the gold coins made of and is it valuable?
Asked by David (7 years ago)
Do you mean Cupro Nickel for silver look.
Answered by Anon (7 years ago)
No, gold and silver are worth much more than the metal for these coins. You are paying for a shinny everyday coin, not making a financial investment. be sure you know what you are buying before spending anything more than a fiver. Last coins in collections tend to be very very very expensive for all they are worth (or out of stock).
Answered by Steve (7 years ago)
Shiny tat I'm afraid and overpriced for what they are. Go to the real royal mint if looking for great gift or investment. This will cost a bit more but you get real quality and an investment.

Do they ever answer their contact forms I have filled in loads and never got an answer. I will never buy from this company again.
Asked by Ratter (8 years ago)
I think their attempts at form filling in is simply a way to drag out any queries that don't involve handing over money or subscribing. See other reviews, they are intent on making the process slow and difficult as possible, using threats where necessary. The genuine people that work of this type of business should really think twice about what they are doing to honest people. Fill a form in? I suspect you are only wasting your time on something that no one else would ever read.

I've a;lways thouht this was part of the Royal Mint and am shocked to find it is not! My free wedding coin has still not arrived do they just take the p&p?
Asked by Carolyn Magnus (8 years ago)
Feel blessed that you haven't started receiving anything from this business. It only results in more challenges and stress in your life than you could ever believe is possible for such a fantastic offer and free "gift".

If you have already handed over all your card details details to this business, then you may have subscribed to something that you may not be aware off. You may find it hidden in the small print. You may even find ways of cancelling in the T&Cs. You may even be able to return and be refunded. But beware, this path is less than "easy" and heading towards complex and mastermind standard, requiring endurance and skill. Another option would be to get your bank to cancel the card, send a single letter notifying you are cancelling everything associated with this business, and start afresh with a lesson learned.

Please can I be emailed with the telephone number of The London Mint. Thank you.

Their Customer Service Team 'Free' No. is 08081782373
Answered by James (8 years ago)
If placing an order, you will receive prompt attention on the phone by one of the many account managers. If you are looking to cancel or report issues, your challenges are just beginning. Be prepared to use letter and email, but also be prepared to receive only threatening bailiff letters. This company really needs to work on its customer service.

Why will your web site not accept my credit card details is there a problem or has it been got at?
Asked by Terry Langridge (8 years ago)
Mr Langridge- I am sorry to hear this- I can see the card systems are all working fine. If you like I could have one of the call team phone you to place the order over the phone?
Answered by Scott Wilson (8 years ago)
You're lucky your card failed. The coins are a worthless scam.
Answered by Goat (8 years ago)
I agree with Goat. You are lucky. I would advise anyone who is being scammed or repeatedly charged to cancel their card.
Answered by J R Lowe (8 years ago)
Strange they manage to answer the question about why a card payment won't go through, but nothing else. Money making scam.
Answered by Jackie (8 years ago)
Remember we are talking about an "excellent" company that have "easy" processes for placing your orders. Why would they wish to compromise this gold (coloured) standard. Why settle for silver (coloured) when there is money to be made, targets to be hit, commission to be paid and customers that can otherwise be ignored.
Answered by Anon (7 years ago)
I've been reading about scams on line and would like to reply to these. I have purchased a number of commemorative coins for my Disabled husband and both him and myself are completely satisfied with all transactions and have never been pressurised into buying anything.
Asked by Mrs Loretta Hook (8 years ago)
Made up name. Is that even a question. Obviously one of the fake company's scamming employee. Or just totally deluded victim.
Answered by Goat (8 years ago)
God to say that it is always the disabled and the elderly that are target market for these types of sales tactics. I'd suggest a long hard look in the mirror, but I suspect that would distract from the opportunity. There are far too many people reporting similar issues and problems with this business for that to be more than a coincidence. Yes it may be easy to order and receive coins (coins being used in the loosest sense possible here as the quality is certainly on the iffy side). The adverts and sales tactics are out to infer something about the quality that they are not. More than happy to meet up and hand deliver these poor quality imitations that have been scammed from our elderly and infirm family. If Mrs Loretta Hook is a real person, I'd suggest she gets one of her kids to give her a second opinion or even take down a local jeweler for their thoughts......

When is someone going to answer your phones got to next to be answered and was still waiting 40 min just couldn't justify waiting any longer. This happened on all of your numbers.
Asked by Mrs M Houlton (8 years ago)
They won't answer all while you are on a premium rate line on hold. Then they'll send you more worthless coins and demand more money.
Answered by Goat (8 years ago)
Premium numbers are part of this businesses sales model. They have targets, which will involve you sitting on hold listening to lovely music for as long as possible. Must be one of the numbers other than the sales line for an account manager, who is awaiting your card details....
