Absolutely terrible branch. We were there Saturday 12pm there were in total 22 people in the till queue and only one checkout open . Meanwhile other staff were standing around chatting . When we did eventually get served the checkout lady was rude and very unhelpful. We have been going to the range for a number of years with relatively no problems but wigan branch has gone down hill and we won't be returning.

The Range doea have some good products, and the staff are excellent. The toilets are a disgrace and should be shut down. You can smell them in the coffe bar, it is disgusting. I don't know how they are still open.

Diabolical. Returned and yet the same disgusting customer service from gut with beard behind service desk. Even lady behind with receipt for wallpaper age did niot use he would not refund . I bought a front door bell. It works when it's literally touching the alarm but when the door bell piece is in the front door and the bell is just the inside of the front door it does not work. But Instead of trying what I told him the issue was he just kept repeating say can't change it as it's not faulty I said it us if you go in that room and leave the bell here it won't work. It's not faulty that's all he said like a robot.your teZm need severe training and development in delivering an exceptional customer xperience. Chris Dawson. Next I see you at the Dock restaurant at mill bay Plymouth. Be prepared to have a front door bell and paint rollers given to you for your desert. Chris I really think if you experienced twice what I have in your Wigan store . No wonder it's never very busy like the Plymouth stores. Set ice in the north west does not compare to home in Devon.

I am disabled but store has no working lift .have been there twice in the last 12_18 months as well as today and the lift wasn't working on all three occasions. This means cannot access furniture and accessories or cafe on the second floor. Why?do people with disabilities not matter to your company.

Thank you to Sandra at Wigan!! Saved me an item I couldn’t get at Leigh. Leigh staff were very unhelpful! When I couldn’t find the store she literally navigated me there by phone. Above and beyond any shop assistant’s role. Thanks Sandra.

I do not know what has happened at The Range Wigan ,it used to be an excellent store. Now there are some good staff, but most mainly younger staff they seem to want to talk to colleagues more than work , and some staff (including a so called Manager I complained to some time ago) have the worst customer service skills ever, I can honestly say some staff at this store the attitude they have is beyond disgraceful. This is down to bad management. This is why I do not shop there much now!

Tried phoning the Wigan store to enquire about a stock item for nearly 2 hours but nobody would pick the phone up. Went to b&q in the end, who answered the phone, and spent my money there.

I would like to say that I was not very happy with your Wigan Branch today. A lady with two children was buying bags of play pit sand and asked for a flat trolley she was told there wasn’t any and would have to put the sand in the normal basket trolley. She then asked for help to get the trolley to her car and was told the staff were not allowed to assist. She had to put one child In the child seat of the trolley, hold the hand of her other child and push the trolley with one hand. As soon as she got outside the trolley tipped over and her child fell out but had his leg caught. The sandbags fell out into the car park and the child that fell out of the trolley was lucky not to be hit by one or more of them. Two of us customers had to lift the trolley to get it upright and pick up the sandbags to load them into her car. I know there is social distancing at the moment but your staff could have help this lady by taking her trolley to her car. I hope this has been caught on CCTV for people in authority and health and safety to look at. I have emailed your customer service dept also. Graham Neal

I love The Range. Love the stuff and think the prices are fairly reasonable. I find the staff are touch and go, sometimes they are okay and other times not so much. One time in particular a woman ruined my day because of how rude she was towards me and my boyfriend. She had no manners, never smiled and actually SIGHED at me when bagging up my things. I didn’t get a hello, thankyou, goodbye, nothing. She was rude.
