Apparently cheap packaging but good for smuggling in places,should have read the print better,so my fault but proof will be in taste I suppose

Hi Paul, Thank you for taking the time to write some feedback. We're sorry that you missed the description of the product and the photos on our site. Please note for potential future purchases that we have specifically created a "GLASS MINIATURES" section where one can purchase products more suitable for little gifts. We have tried to make it very clear what customers are getting with the gin box product in question; we highlight all the important facts RE the boxes in orange uppercase letters on the product page, as well as have a photos of them too. As you might have gathered, this sachet and box product has been designed with the purpose of fitting through ones letterbox, and allows customers to choose from a wide range of gins, "try before you buy as it were" : the packaging solution for these gin boxes has been designed for convenience, as opposed to a high-end product. However, I'm pleased to say that we will be launching our glass miniatures mix and match product later on this year. Ultimately, we take your feedback on board and will look into ways of making it even more clear - we hope you enjoy your selection of gin! Requested and paid for 24hr delivery. Purchased arrived closer to 48 hrs later. My impression was there was a lot of product listed but not available. Lots of other sites available. I might try them next time.

"Private correspondence" reply now "Public": Dear Andrew, Thank you for leaving us feedback, and apologies that I didn't reply sooner. Firstly, I’m sorry to hear that the gift did not arrive when you expected it to. Please bear with the lengthy reply, but I would like to be as thorough as I can on this matter. If you could read through the below and let me know your thoughts I would appreciate it. Kind Regards, Alastair YOUR ORDER I have taken a look at the order and can see that it was placed on Monday 21st January at 14:00, thus, as advertised in our header and at checkout would not have been included on the shipments for the day because our cutoff period is 13:30, therefore the next available date to process and ship the item with our courier was the following day on Tuesday 22nd January. OUR ESTIMATED DELIVERY CALCULATOR We have developed an estimated delivery date calculator so as to assist customers with when to expect parcels, this calculator is highlighted at checkout in orange to be as noticeable as possible, and it would have identified that the next available date for delivery on Parcel Force 24hr, as per our shipping terms, would be delivery for Wednesday 23rd January, if it was placed on Monday 21st January after 13:30. (Please read very bottom points to read more on this*) It certainly appears that you missed this section upon checkout, which we are sorry to see. DELIVERY I have looked at the tracking information for your order and can see that a delivery was made on Wednesday 23rd of January, inline with our shipping T&Cs. IN CONCLUSION We don’t want customers to have bad experiences with us, and we are immensely proud of our customer service. It is very rare that things go wrong with the service we provide, but it does happen on occasion and we always try and communicate with our customers and resolve the matter in some way. However, in this case, I believe we fulfilled our service within our terms. WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO DO TO NOTIFY CUSTOMERS MORE We have had issues renaming the “24hour” service itself on our site, because of limitations to the Plug-ins we use from Parcel Force as its respective identifier given by Parcel Force, but we are looking in to how we might be able to rename it: “Priority Delivery” & “Standard Delivery" so as not to mislead customers. Furthermore, we are hoping to implement the SMS - Text Notifications system so customers can keep updated with their package’s whereabouts and hopefully specify preferences to the delivery. STOCK AND AN APOLOGY I'm so sorry that we seemed to be down on stock when you ordered with us. We are currently undergoing some changes to the business and opening a shop, so cash flow is have a little impact on being able to stock all our ranges... but we are working hard to replenish the shelves and offer more gin to our customers. We are currently trying to increase our variety or British gins, especially with Brexit on the horizon, so we have lots of interesting gin becoming available to customers soon. I would happily send you a little sample sachet or two of a couple of new gins that we are getting in from Whittaker's Gin, that's if you are interested? Please do let me know! THE ESTIMATOR ON CHECKOUT SHOULD HAVE INDICATED THE FOLLOWING: There are number items that should have informed you when to expect the delivery or informed you of the delivery service: 1. The “order within xxxx to ship xxxx” would have indicated the following to you: “Order within 23hrs 30mins to ship Tuesday” 2. The respective shipment choice method would have stated: PARCEL FORCE 24 HR “Expect delivery on WED, JAN 23RD" 3. We have a “Please Note” section stating: "PLEASE NOTE: DELIVERIES ARE BUSINESS DAYS ONLY AND ARE PROCESSED AT 1.30PM. ORDERS MADE AFTER 1.30PM WILL BE PROCESSED THE NEXT WORKING DAY. THE ESTIMATOR ABOVE WILL HELP YOU SELECT THE CORRECT SERVICE.”

Paid for 24 hour delivery. However it arrived after Christmas on the 27th. Not very happy.

Response to customer via private reply - Message now public. Dear Michelle, We're sorry to hear that the gin did not arrive when you expected it. We appreciate your feedback, and have written an explanation below: I have looked in to your gift order and can see it was placed on Thursday 21st at 20:57, thus the order would have been processed on Friday 22nd December before 11am - 11am is our advertised cut off period for next day delivery (not including weekends or Bank Holidays) in our header and upon checkout i.e if we had received you order by 11am on Thursday 21st then it would have been with you on Friday 22nd. We state in our header that we offer business day delivery only through our courier, and like many other suppliers don't offer Bank Holiday deliveries (25th and 26th) thus your order was delivered on 27th December, the next available opportunity from when you placed your order. As mentioned above, we do have a delivery date calculator in our checkout system that would have highlighted Wednesday 27th as the delivery date too. Additionally, because we don't want our customers to be disappointed during the busy festive period we updated our header delivery advice and stated that for guaranteed Christmas delivery, customers should order by Wednesday 20th (11am) just to be safe, even on 24hr. Ultimately I'm sorry that you missed our delivery advice notes, and although it is much more expensive, we will be looking into adding a Saturday delivery option, just so that it is clear to customers what their options are. Either way, I hope that Margaret enjoys her Warner Edwards Gin. and would gratefully receive any further comments you might have on your experience with us. Kind Regards, Alastair TGBS

I brought some tester selections for my fathers bday, they arrived very quick in the post but I was very disappointed as I thought they would be in mini bottles, didn't look a great present to open just sachets in a box

Dear Gemma, Thank you for leaving a review with us. We’re sorry to hear that the gin box was not as you hoped. We believe that we have photographed the product and described the product clearly on our site, and have also highlighted the the fact we use plastic sachets as opposed to glass - In light of your review we have recently iterated this fact beneath every gin available to sample so as to be even clearer. Ultimately, we're sorry that the pictures and product description did not giving you an adequate impression of what the product would look like. We feel that sometimes customers are so enthused by the mix and match idea that it's easy to miss the details. We're proud of our gin boxes as they provide customers with a convenient and affordable gin sampling solution, that has the bonus of fitting through one’s letter box; a glass miniature selection would be in a large package and have to be signed for and thus be costlier.
