“The Meat Man is a great company. They supplied a rib of beef for xmas that was great. They also supplied me with 32oz Rump steaks. I'm working through those. Some have been really good and some less than good, being a bit sinewy and tough. The steak was cheap. Sadly these Rump steaks are not British meat but Polish. I really like to support our British Farmers...something that will become increasingly important once we are out of the EU. But as I said...it was cheap...so... Overall...delivery was as advertised and too the Isle of Wight which is a good service. The meat arrived fridge cold. I'll try some large Pork Chop and maybe a better cut of steak next. Anyway...well done The Meat Man.”

“The quality of the meat is generally very good as it the service but there is room for improvement in areas such as scoring the joints which is a minor thing but something that would help make you that bit better”

“The beef fillet steak was very good indeed, however the beef fillet steak strips was in small pieces with quite a bit of fat on same, we lost almost 200g per kg once prepared for freezing. You might be better purchasing a complete fillet and cutting it into strips although this would be more expensive. The chicken portions was good overall but again needed trimming. I have conacted the company regarding two deliveries which did not happen especially annoying as one was for Christmas. To date I have had no response from the company which was sent a few days ago.”

“Good quality meat and decent size cuts. I would question some of the macronutrients on the packs and whether they’re accurate? The Lean Beef Burgers seem to let out a lot of fat when cooking?”

“I was led to believe it was british meat, the labels say otherwise. It turns out it’s only slaughtered or butchered in Britain. As an ethically minded carnivore, I will be purchasing my meat from elsewhere until you begin selling British farmed meat.”
