“The product is great, and love the little compostable tub it comes in, but the whole point of me buying this product was to not have plastic waste, this small tub came in a box which could have fit 4 of them in, and then the whole thing was wrapped in plastic, which felt like it defeats the purpose. I might buy again but indirectly and see if it helps”

Thanks for the review and we're really happy you love the product. However, apologies, if you were disappointed with the packaging. Just to note the polythene bag its wrapped in is fully biodegradable. The purpose of the bag was extra protection for your order during shipping, having said that we are trialling out sending the mailer boxes without the poly bag.
With regards to your query regarding the box - we purposely have 1 box for all our products whether its 1 or 4 items, this is to avoid surplus stock of cardboard packaging.

“4 out of 5. The product is great, and I am pleased with the quality and quantity at the price point. The main reason for purchase was that they are British based therefore less transport involved and sustainable packaging. The only ball dropped was the packet arrived shrink wrapped in non-recyclable plastic. Would be good if also carbon negative.”

The mailer bag is actually biodegradable. We appreciate you would not know this as there's no indication of it anywhere on the bag. We're aware of this issue and moving forward will ensure that its more obvious to our customers!
