“As others have said this company should be avoided. Very suspicious customer service, saying they won't accept returns... Have reported to trading standards.”

“If product is faulty you have to pay post cost. I had faulty product returned back to me, they stated no fault. Still faulty & post cost lost. Not easy to contact this company.”

“Please avoid this company at all costs. Poor quality, poor service- and they make it very difficult to return faulty goods. Very unpleasant to deal with. Trading Standards are currently investigating them”

“i waited for 2 months for my lights; one item was out of stock. When i contacted them again this item had arrived but another item was out.. i still get nothing.. after several emails they tell me everything in my order is now sold out.. never experienced a messier handling.”

“I've ordered twice in last 3 months znd failed to deliver on both occasions.... they take your money up front and then don't deliver.... ive cancelled twice as they cannot supply.... you have to chase them for delivery as they have no clue !! DO NOT USE”

“I purchased 12 Avon Up and Down solar wall lights in April. I had 2 fail with water ingress which were eventually swapped but were a different colour to the 10 I had left. I have now had another 4 fail with the same issue of water ingress and getting no response despite emailing and calling. Calling often leads to a answering machine only. Appalling quality and customer service.”

“AVOID AT ALL COST ! Worst company you may ever come across.... forget any customer service , forget any refunds as they just don’t do them. Charge you for next day delivery with no intention of sending them next day delivery. And to hide behind covid as a reason for such bad service.. you really should be ashamed of yourselves.”

“Purchased one of their more expensive lights but it failed to function just after the warranty period so I purchased the same item and that failed within the warranty period, I tried to contact them numerous times (phone line inoperative due to Covid, understandable) when one of my countless emails was eventually answered I was told I would receive a refund immediately, which never happened. Again after numerous emails I was informed that I wouldn't be receiving a refund because I had purchased through eBay from their own eBay shop. Not happy, avoid.”

“Order taken, showing in stock, then when no delivery found it was on back order for mid July. No responses to emails. Shocking service and wouldn’t use them again”

“Can’t put a google review on they have somehow stopped it. Ordered something that was allegedly in stock! Paid for it as well as extra for speedy delivery. Only to find out two days later NOT IN STOCK TILL NEARLY 6 WEEKS LATER! They are a total disgrace. Please please to not be taken in by their promises on the website.”

“Bought 12 mini London post lights about a year ago. They worked great throughout last summer & now only 5 are still working. The other 7 all have rust on their soldered joints & wont come on - not very watertight then. Their website says 30 days warranty - errr no, this is England, so 52 weeks warranty. Either way, mine are now nearly 13 months old & have not survived one winter. Great for southern climates but for UK, no.”

“I purchased two Chester up and down solar lights, and was very disappointed with the products, which I understand are made in China. They had an IP rating of 44, but were not at all water resistant. If it rained they would not come on the next night and I had to press the on buttons again on the solar panels for the lights to function. In fact one of the lights had a cup full of water in it after a couple of days! I returned the lights to Solar Centre and obtained a full refund. The customer services lady, Suzie Fraser, was very helpful, but the products which I received were not fit for purpose. Buyer Beware!”
