“The swim top is underwhelming. My teenager is trans and I have a big chest. Ultimately, we both could use a bathing suit top that has extra hold. I thought TomBoyX would be a good fit but sadly, I found the material to be extremely weak. LandsEnd swim material has better support. So disappointing.
Style, patterns and shopping experience are a 5 out of 5 but the miss on the material, especially for the audience, is a big miss.”
“I have only ordered bathing suits. I had to return the ones with sleeves because I couldn’t get them off. My jade green parasail one with front zip is fabulous - I would order more if there were other colors. Customer service has always been great.”
“I found that the organic cotton boyshorts, organic forget me not bra, and organic cotton rib trunks were just ok. I really wanted to love them as I am always on the lookout for organic underwear and wear boyshorts and trunks exclusively. The bra had poor coverage on the sides and seemed a little thin. The boyshorts are fine and they are comfortable and soft, but there are areas where the seams do not lie flat. Weird. And the trunks fit fine except for at the bottom of the trunk where they suddenly flare out on each side, unlike in the photo where it shows that they actually dip in a bit at the bottom, so they do not lie flat on the leg. Either the patterns are off or the craftsmanship is just not there. I can't wear the bra because, why? And the underwear and trunks are fine because I guess no one will see them except me. Not really happy, difficult to recommend. I have not tried other items because I was focused on organic only.”
“Would give 3.5 stars. I was aiming to find a binder that I could wear at work/for longer periods/ while exercising. Which I guess is still just not doable. This is a comfortable high coverage sports bra. But not much compression at all. For what seems like just a bra, I sure haven’t ever spent this much on one. But that’s on me too.”
“Really appreciate the company's goals and message but the product I bought specifically was pretty laughable on me. I'm a bigger chested woman and thought since there were so many plus sized models and thoughtful designs that I could try the ribbed plunge bralette, but there was really not enough fabric to even cover my breasts. That was on me though for thinking that, I suppose. I would be willing to try other products in the future but for now I'll be returning.”
“I really love this company I’ve been shopping with them for a few years but I’ve noticed over time washing and wearing my boy shorts they start to rip along the lining of the band the material just gets thin and eventually will have holes and that really sucks bc of how much you pay for them! So sorry but I do not think TomboyX will be getting any more of my money!”

I was able to utilize them. I do love your boy shorts but will be shopping elsewhere from now on. Half of my favorites are always out of stock in my size. I tried your swim tanks and they were not up to specifications. I will be returning those asap.”

“After several years of enjoying TomboyX boxers, I am saddened to realize that the fit has changed. Previously, when I ordered boxers with a 6" inseam, they came up over my tummy in front (these were the style with no buttons, just flat seams in the front). Now, the boxers come below my belly button which is very uncomfortable. I have returned them and I wanted you to know why. Is it possible to order old stock with the previous sizing? I would love to get more. Thank you.”
“Love the underpants / shorts. Hate this review app; it keeps changing my ratings of the bra quality, coverage & support from what I am selecting to a better rating. The bra had very poor quality, coverage, and support / compression. But when I select “very poor,” it highlights “very poor to average,” which is not what I am trying to communicate. Very poor, period. The quality of the underpants is excellent so far, but if they start falling apart, I definitely won’t be a return customer.”
