“I have bought multiple styles annd sizes, every single one of them slide off my hips. They will not stay up. I had to leave work the first day I wore them to go to the mall and buy different boxers bc they slid down and my thighs began chaffing. They were awful. The legs were way too tight on my thighs but too big in the hips. And I am very very well stacked in the hips department. I have every bit of 15 pair as I asked for them as gifts as well. I was highly disappointed. The concept is amazing and I love it but the product just didn’t work for ME. I cannot speak for others and I will not advise others against them bc they are made very well they just weren’t designed for thick thighs with the wide hips.”
“Well, I was very excited so it’s super disappointing, but I ordered two pairs following the size chart the blue speedo type tucking underwear, which does not tuck my parts whatsoever. I also ordered the black tucking thong, and I wore it to school for my dance class. I literally had to leave my dance class to change my underwear because of how much discomfort I was in. It’s been about two days and the material cause severe irritation…. Would not recommend at all.”

“Do NOT order from TomboyX. I have loved this company for a decade. Every pair of underwear I own is TomboyX. Recently I purchased a 3-pack with a 40% off promotion and received one random pair. When trying to resolve the situation, I faced a nightmare customer service experience that was left to only email or text. None of my responses were read and the entire experience with them took over 2 weeks (4 weeks in total from the time of my purchase). They responded that my 3-pack was no longer in stock and when I requested an alternative multiple times, they simply refunded me with a 20% discount so that I could repurchase my order at a higher cost after a hellish customer service experience. This is no longer the company I have purchased from for so many years. Just because there's minimal competition in this space does not mean we should have to accept abysmal customer service. I will never order from TOMBOYX again.”
“I was expecting a 5 star review for this site and company however that's not the case. On 7/1 I ordered from this site with standard shipping (7-15 days). Despite my better judgement I allowed them to send out a new "expedited shipping" order which was to arrive again in 7-15 days. It is now 8/21 still no package but every attempt to not refund me my money. Be careful when placing orders via this site if your in the USA as they will offer you a 20% refund on a product you never actually received. What a joke! 0/5 stars”
“Fun patterns and colors but the fabric quality is poor and the craftsmanship is even worse. My pants have only seen minimal wear and have been laundered on delicate but are literally coming apart at the seams at the knees. So cheap. I’ll never buy this brand again.”
“I have a really hard time finding the right clothes for my kids who are gender non conforming. I was looking for tank tops for my trans and non-binary teens who wanted to use them as swim tops. I found some great deals on sale through tomboyx and the pic showed a black muscle-shirt tank-top with two white stripes down the back. I ordered 3 because they were very affordable and knew my kids would use them. When they arrived I was extremely disappointed to find that the tank top had a mesh see-through 3" wide strip from neck to bum on the back of the shirts. This is info that should be displayed on the photos! The photos show a stripe but in now way can you tell that its transparent. I'm really surprised that a gender aware store would not think this is an important detail.
I paid $30 per tank ($90) plus $30 shipping. And they would not offer a refund because it was final sale. They suggested I donate the shirts as a reply. No bathing suits, out $120, thanks a lot.”

I payed wayy to much money for some underwear just to rip and get wholes in them I think they just have cheap cotton fabric that rips easily over time. So I will no longer be shopping with TomboyX. “I'm so disappointed with this company. There is no consistency in the product with regard to quality, sizing, or materials. The same bra style can vary wildly in size depending on the band's color. The boxer briefs I bought last year are of a completely different fabric than the ones I bought this year. The new ones feel like they are mostly polyester. The lack of cotton means they fit completely differently. I wish that the amount of energy that goes into multiple patterns went into production. I absolutely loved this company years ago and now I believe my recent purchase will be my last. You cannot make underwear that is bad to touch. Every order has been a gamble and I am sick of losing. I own many soft essential bras, all the same size, and every batch is slightly different in construction and they keep declining in quality.”
“I'm surprised that for a gender neutral brand that these longer boxers did not account for those of us with male parts. The other versions of this underwear has a seamed "pouch" area which makes it much more comfortable. I'd recommend they make every piece of clothing more inclusive.”
