“Quote very competitive when compared to others. Installation planned for 13th Dec 22. All required kit was delivered 2/3 days before installation. The scaffold was erected early 12th Dec 22 in freezing conditions. The installation team arrived early on 13th Dec 22 still freezing. The guys were very professional and polite. The whole installation was completed to a high standard by mid-afternoon on the 13th Dec which included some extra work on the roof to remove two sun tubes. (see photos attached). System monitoring was set up on my phone and I was shown how to use it. The scaffold was removed on 16th Dec. All in all a very satisfying experience from start to finish.”

“I requested 5 different quotes for my solar panel and battery installation and TCL Solar were the only company that bothered to visit our property in person to discuss my requirements, take indicative measurements and provide informed solutions. Their quote was received the next day and actually offered the most competitive price compared to the other companies for similar solutions. After I had chosen TCL Solar their communications has been excellent and all items were delivered as scheduled. The scaffolding was erected as planned and the solar panels installed the following day by Matt & Mike who worked from 8am to 6pm in freezing temperatures. They were very polite and respectful and just got on with the job. The scaffolding was removed as planned and everything left neat and tidy. Overall I would strongly recommend TCL Solar for this type of installation.”

“This is one of those occasions when the reviews proved to be spot on. From the start, Simon who overseas the sales did not try to blind us with science or unrealistic figures (refreshing). The installation process was smooth and the various contractors came as scheduled, were curtious clean and efficient. The various displays which need to be in the house are neat and unobtrusive. Both my wife and i will be singing there praises to anybody who may be interested in solar. Thank you TCL”

“TCL were a brilliant company to deal with, they took their time to explain the options, what each part of the system does and what would be best for us in terms of our circumstances and expectations. Simon visited us and took measurements and photographs to ensure the installation crew knew what they were dealing with. Prior to installation, we had the Panels/brackets and inverters delivered, Simon let us know the delivery dates before this occurred and he also arranged for a scafold crew to be onsite the day before installation. The scaffold crew were on time, polite and worked in a very tidy manner and again they let us know when they would be back to take the scaffold down. The installation crew arrived at 8 am as expected and quickly and quietly got to work, always careful to ensure limited mess and moved around our house in such a way as to ensure our dog did not get out. The standards of the installation crew were superb, ensuring all cabling was neatly affixed to the walls, and trunking was used where cable runs are exposed to the elements. At every stage of the Installation, the TCL team have communicated with us excellently, even post-installation Simon is available for any questions and queries we may have.”

“All aspects were clearly explained before agreement was signed. Staff were very helpful and always ready to answer questions. Scaffolding team were efficient and tidy as were the actual panel fitters. All in all a very stress free experience.”

“Simon and David and their team of installers gave a great service from beginning to end. Their price was competitive, and lead time to installation was very impressive given the current market and demand for panels. We have already recommended them to a couple of friends which should tell you all you need to know!”

“Excellent service from the first contact and visit, to the very prompt fitting of the panels. Everything was very clearly explained to us, enabling us to understand how the system would work. Very positive and approachable both in person and on the phone, inspiring confidence. Everything happened on the timescale promised. We would certainly recommend the company.”

“I was recommended TCL from a friend and from start to finish it was a great and very smooth journey. Every detail was covered from the first appt to completion. The team were available at all times and the fitters did a fantastic job on the day. I would recommend TCL to anybody who is looking at Solar panels. Great job, thanks”

“I was delighted with how quickly I have been looked after. The first visit was within two weeks. I received the estimate and an offer of installation. The scaffolding was up just over two weeks later and the installation completed within three weeks. In the same timescale other suppliers did not even get to a first visit. I went with Simon and TCL Solar because I felt confident in his approach and that I would get a fair deal - definitely not a pushy salesman. Workmanship all looks good. I have to say I was impressed seeing Micky (?) and Joshua running over my roof handling the panels. The actual fitting took less than a full day (for 12 panels). System is up and running and I am seeing a good return - despite cloudy weather in October. I have been promised help with paperwork for claiming SEG payments - very welcome.”

“I appreciated the very quick turnaround, from measurement to installation. I had ten panels installed and they made a very neat job on my roof. Communication was very good throughout: TCL kept me informed what was happening regarding delivery of the panels and scaffolding. The installers discussed with me how they were going to install the electrical components, and answered all of my questions regarding how the system worked. The installers set up the app on my phone post-installation. I was also later helped with the smart energy guarantee (SEG) paperwork (recommend taking a photo of the meter with "export" screen post-install), so everything was sorted out from start to finish. Thank you.”

“TCL recommended by a friend which is always a good start. Simon came round looked at what was wanted, discussed options and priced it up. At no point were there any ‘pushy’ sales. Fitting date set upon signing up and fitted within a month, follow up communication by Simon and David excellent, delivery couriers placing of pallets in thoughtful place, installation by Matt & Mike brilliant, post fitting communication by David once again excellent. Basically great service from start to finish and would certainly recommend. Unfortunately we have now become Solar bores, but so pleased we made the move.”

“Every aspect of my journey to having solar panels installed has been a joy. The personal service of a family run business is truly superb. From my initial phone call, to Simon coming and doing a survey, Jim and Troy erecting the scaffolding, and then the actual installation of panels by a superb team (Matt, Mike and Josh), has been flawless and in a much quicker timeframe than I had anticipated. During this whole process Dave (Simon’s brother), has been there to answer all my questions; even on the Bank Holiday, when I panicked as within 48 hrs of the panels being placed, the jolly feral pigeons had already started setting routes to have their future nesting place!!!! Thank goodness for Dave’s fast response, this pesky issue has been taken care of and I now am confident that the ‘eye lashes’, as I call them, will ensure I am pigeon free! Truly, truly delighted and I can honestly say TCL Solar gives that personal service which is generally, so lacking these days.”
