Very dishonest seller. I purchased a camera for £3000 few days later I got an email telling me the camera is out of stock. When I enquired why is it still on their website as in stock I received a reply telling me they can’t post it to me because of inflation the price has gone up and then refunded my money.

This company is devious and has no scruples. When they said they would refund my money, they put it into PayPal, where I have no account! Then, as far as they were concerned, even though they knew they were breaking Australian Consumer Laws, they care less. When you import a lens from the UK or China, you are obliged to pay VAT or GST, consequently, combining postage and added taxes, they are not the cheapest.

It's good as long as there is nothing wrong with the purchased product. The lens I bought 6 months ago developed a fault with focus. I returned an item for warranty repair and after many emails from me, I got it sent back after 8 weeks. The lens wasn't fixed at all, not even inspected. Now I requested a replacement or refund and E-infinity doesn't respond to my emails. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NOT WORTH A RISK!!!

I have ordered a Sony Camera and lens with urgency in this store almost two months ago and the experience has been the worst and most disappointing buying experience in my life. First, in spite of paying almost 3000€ for the products I wanted, I got charged an additional 120€ in international expenses when in the site it's advartised as having Tax included and no additional fees. Second, it took weeks for them to gather the products and tell me when and if my package had been sent, they only told me because I sent emails asking almost daily. Third, my package got lost by DHL after another 2/3 weeks. Then I contacted them and DHL here in Portugal to resolve the issue and get my refund and found out they evaluated the package in just over 100€ when they shipped it, so the DHL will only compensate them with that value for the lost package. As for me, as the paying costumer, I've been talking to them in emails for weeks trying to get my refund, and they only respond to me in the middle of the night, once per day, sometimes once per week, and they are just dragging the process of refunding, asking me to write letters, or that I have to wait 25 working days. Essentially I'm out of work because of this company, I've spent almost 3000€ to upgrade my camera for my work. At this moment I have no other camera and have been without working for months. This is the most traumatic experience in my life, and I'm very sad about this all fiasco.

I place an order on the 31/01/2023 for a Sony camera it was out for delivery after 3 weeks of purchase yet that was not the worst part!! the courier UPS has lost the parcel and I was told by cs einfinity to field a lost case with UPS that’s what I have done , the investigation with UPS took over a week and on the UPS tracking status regarding to the lost case it showing the claim has been issued to the sender please contact the sender , so that’s what I did for over a week but the only reply I get from e infinity is “Hi Please note that the case may need to take 6-12 weeks to investigate. We will let you know when we have an update. " it’s nothing but disaster I’ll keep updating my review until I get my refund. To any one that’s out there that’s looking to shopping here best advice go in to your local hardware stores save your self some hassle.

Don't expect good customer service! My lens had an issue within the 1 year warranty period. I sent it over (UK to UK address), and they have received the lens 16 weeks ago. Long story short, It's still not done. Initially, the offered to cover the cost for a local repair, which I could not find, and thus sent the lens in (on my cost). After having the lens for 3 months, and only after I asked several times about the status, they asked me to pay for the repair (65£), which I refused. They then accepted to repair it anyway and to update me. After a month without news, I inquired again. They now told me they still need 1-2 weeks for repair. And then of course there will be 2 weeks of shipping. I am sure that when I inquire about the status in 2 weeks, they will still need an extra week etc. All along, no apologies, no customer service offer (discount, refund etc). If you have money and time to waste, shop with them! Yannick

This is ridiculous. I received a defective camera and you expect me to send it out for repair because it's less than 30 days old?? I'm not trying to send anything back, I am requesting an even exchange for a defective camera that I just spent $1600 on for one that is not defective. That's standard business practice in the majority of the world. I can guarantee that as a result I will NEVER buy anything from your less than honest business ever again. I will also start spreading the word that if you sell defective merchandise and have absolutely no intention of standing behind your products. This camera was obviously defective before I ever received it and as such I was deceived and lied to by your company. Very sad way to conduct business and certainly not one to ever establish repeat business. Rest assured I will do all in my power to get the word out about how you do business and the type of defective products you are pushing with no intention of supporting your customers as soon as their credit card payment clears your bank. I will do whatever I can to make sure no one else is taken down like I was.

Just reading some of these comments is making me nervous. I am currently going through a very disappointing time with e infinity. I bought a camera, A lens and other bits to the value of 2500euro. I got the snapshot of the order ready for shippi g but still has not left the warehouse after 3 weeks. They say it's with the courier but I contacted DHL and they say they never received the parcel. They were able to tell me it's still in the warehouse. I got back to e infinity stating the fact but they say DHL are wrong and that the problem lies with them. However they have offered me a refund but I have seen elsewhere that when they are refunding they give you the money through my payment PayPal, as a payment which means I will have to pay a percentage for receiving my money back. Something is not right with them.. I'll stay well clear in the future. As this issue is on going I will stay anonymous for the moment.

I am only giving one star because i don’t have an option to give none. The people who run the company are inconsiderate scam artists. I bought a camera from their website in august. UPS was delivering my package. 5 days later , i get a delivery confirmation email from UPS saying as i was not home, they have delivered it to a collection point. When i went to pickup up, they said nothing has been delivered in my name. I have been contacting UPS and emailing (as they don’t have a contact number) this company for more than 2 months now. They are still saying they are investigating. Its been more than 2 months. The only reply i get from these people are “ thank you for your email. We will get back to you once we have any update”. This is the only reply. How ridiculous. Atleast they should show the decency to tell me exactly what is happening. They told me it would take them 4-8 weeks to finish the investigation. I have been waiting patiently but since they are showing no sign of giving me a decent solution, i am going to the court. To everyone who are planning to buy from these guys, i have only one thing to say….DONT…..!!!!

SCAM! Do not buy from them! I have bought 3 lenses from them and I thought it was great until one of my lenses failed all of a sudden. I sent it to get “repaired” and they claim their is nothing wrong with it even thought their are VERY OBVIOUS defects. The pictures are not even close to useable. A 2005 flip phone can take sharper pictures. Please tell me how they couldn’t find anything wrong during their testing. Just look at this picture…

The one star really represents -5 as we have to tick a start to present a review. I like many others was sucked into how good everything was from the off when I purchase a lens from E-Infinity but it became such a very different situation when apparently my lens had been delivered yet I had not received it. They said they had a signature of delivery from Royal Mail Courier, which they did but it wasn't my signature nor was it my surname, I am not a JONES as stated by Royal Mail. They said they took it up with royal mail and they said their GPS states it was outside my house. Important points here are 1. My son worked for a delivery firm and the GPD can me half a street out 2. The responsibilities of the product lays with E-Infinty not a 3rd party delivery system so the issue of non delivery is between Royal Mail and E-Infinty not Royal Mail and myself as suggested by E-Infinty Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 it states this.. "Delivery The retailer is responsible for goods until they are in your physical possession, in the possession of someone appointed by you to accept them or delivered to your nominated safe place. This is because your contract is with the retailer, who you bought the goods from. So, if your goods are still undelivered and you would like to make a complaint, you should complain to the retailer - even if you think it’s down to a poor service from the courier." "Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act are against the retailer – the company that sold you the product – not the manufacturer, so you must take any claim to the retailer." It also states that I can cancel within 30 days, I contacted E-Infinity within that timescale and they refuse to do anything bar say its being investigated by their 3rd party courier. I am now having to take this up with various legal establishments to recover my £740. There last contact with me was back August 23rd to inform me that the investigation was closed by the 3rd party courier claiming it had been delivered and they would not issue a refund off the back of that.
