I have book the two ticket and I canceled one way both ticket. As per travelled the refund amount is $450 and $650 but I have to pay $150 as tax first. And then I have to wait. Why they cannot deduct from the refund amount and pay balance. As per government re they have to refund the amount. I never give reference to any one to buy ticket from travelopod. When we book ticket they charge the amount first then why refund take long time.

Fake or Late services once you pay for your ticket Do not provide refund even after given timeline of 12 weeks even after following several times. Gives rude answers to customers about timeline and fake promises. Here's my confirmation number - P5JYNY - To show all people that this is a true experience from this website. They give good service only till the time you pay them for the ticket, after that you get late and fake service from these people.

Zero rating from my end to them. Agents are very pushy. In this Covid-19, they became more aggressive towards their sales and fees Even by making false and illegal statements. They are literally scared me and tried to confuse me so I can pay them to change the ticket on different day.

Honestly, I will never and ever book with these agents. These people are rude and just they do not work like other agents. Even though the US government has stopped operating airlines these people will never refund the money. Somehow they lock your money. Very aggressive people and they cut the call by not responding to our questions. Total waste of my money.

They told me twice will give me a call back for cancellation due to covid-19: first time was to call the next day but never did, 2nd time was to call within an hour but never did. Very irresponsible. They expected me to lose $300 for cancelling my ticket (all international airlines had shut down). And now I have to lose $75 for cancelling. I cannot use their service anymore.

This travel agency is fraud company. Liar. When airlines are ready to cancel tickets, these bastards are pocketing money in this sensitive time. They don't take any responsibilities and definitely taking advantage of Coronavirus situation. I came to know so late about their unethical practice when experienced personally, so many hardworking and innocent people lost their money!!

Somehow in booking these flights to San Juan PR, I got a Travelopod agent on the line. He claims he can save me $300 over booking directly with American Airlines or Southwest Airlines. I paid this crappy company $1661 for 2 tickets. Now the Covid pandemic hit, my cruise for my bday got cancelled. Ugh. I have spent 2 days on the phone with Travelopod trying to get my $1661 back, according to AA the actual total price of my tickets are $792.80, causing me to lose $868.20 to Travelopod. I have been hung up on 8 times today with this company, been lied to "I will call you back in 3 hours with a resolution"(Crystal ID 393). No CALL BACK. This company is nothing more than a fraudulent company that takes advantage of people even during a Covid pandemic when people are out of work, and could really use their money back. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. Buyer beware, this company is located in India and is a call center, and has scammed many people like myself out of money.

I have been leveraging travelopod for over 4 years for my family's international travels. The usual happy path that prevailed for the last 4 years , let me live in an illusion that I am buying relatively cheaper tickets( 200 USD less for 4 tickets combined) and my travel to India and other international destination has been a breeze( the fool in me did not realize that it was the airlines being on-time and prompt). This time around with Covid-19 around is when the reality stuck me hard. My wife booked a non-refundable ticket for 4 people to and from( SFO--> Sing-->Bali-->India and India-->Sing-->SFO) through this imbecile bunch for May( booking was done early Dec) . With all this hullaballoo over COVID in the places I was about to travel to, i had my reservations on the travel, but still decided to wait instead of pressing the PANIC button. That was, until the airlines intimated me that they are preponing my flight and my wait time in Singapore( right in the centre of covid from another centre of COVID) just got extended by a day. This made me nervous and also thought this is an opportunity to potentially cancel my tickets. I tried alternatives like asking credit for future travel, they refused and quoted that Singapore airlines advisory does not let them to issue for future credit and my only option is to have an Open ticket( to the same destination(s) till March 31st 2021). I tried explaining that the March timeframe does not fit into my scheme of things considering my kids are in school and if it possible to extend the same till August 2021, although the right option should have been to refund me for the fact that the airlines preponed the date of the flight and respected the current condition that COVID has created , especially for the destination(s) I had in my route . I asked them if they checked with the airlines about the alternatives and the person on the phone said she put me on a 2 minute hold and got the confirmation from airlines :-), anyone who has called Singapore airlines would know the wait times and come to conclusion that she was either lying, plain lucky or has a special dedicated line to connect with Singapore airlines . This has been my most frustrating experience till date and i promise that I will not repeat the mistake that I have been doing for 4 years and lose a fortune trying to save a few hundred dollars. The fact that we also referred a few 'friends and family' to this inept bunch who faced the same situation actually makes this experience a tad worse , thankfully some of them got a refund( on a non-refundable ticket) after they contacted the airlines directly ( be ready for an hours wait on occasions with the airlines, but still worth/better then spending 2 minutes on the phone with these folks. The idea here is to be persistent with the airline customer service , as their first instinct is to shoo away to your agent . But from what i heard, the airline are ready to respect the situation, once you give a clear picture of the incompetency of your agent. The agents just don't try hard enough ) . The main intent of writing this review is to ensure that I can impart my 'lessons learnt' to a larger audience , rather than them learning the hard way ( by spending a fortune trying to save a few dollars). PS: Will you not buy medical insurance , with a view that it will save you a few hundred bucks per month on premiums, if your answer is 'Hell No' I will buy the medical insurance, then do not go with these bunch to save a few hundred dollars and potentially lose a fortune in case of any mini-emergency. Taking advantage of a calamity certainly does not do anyone , any favors in the long term

The worst agency you came across. While booking I keep a faith on rating and went with agency. But looks like all rating they bought their own agents to increase rating. I booked Mumbai Atlanta Delta ticket and due to Covid 19 situation those flights cancelled. I talked with Airlines and they confirmed that it is fully refundable, but travelopod using this situation and paying back only 20% money on the name of airlines. Delta airline or any airlines please request travelopod team to refund the amount in full and not make any money in between. Be a human and not use this tough situation for their benefit. Very worst experience of my life I will never recommend anyone now. I have multiple emails from different callers in Travelopod who are offering different refund option every day. As government is giving all help to travel companies

This company is running a bad cheating scheme. Never use this company. I booked tickets with Travelopod, paid them with my credit card. Later when I went to Airport to check in, Airlines told me that Travelopod didn't make them the payment and asked me to call Travelopod. Travelopod people said that flight is canceled by Airlines and they will rebook me for a later date. Where as Airlines told me that flight is not canceled at all. They tell so many lies. Please book directly with Airlines, these people are cheaters.

I didn't read the review. In my opinion even one star for these travel agent company is also too much. This company is not even worth to have the fraction of a percent ethics in their dealings. I booked of course in the last moment(within 24 hrs gap of travel) and since for the purpose of corona virus and travel restriction highly imposed in India- I decided to postpone. I purchased a economy flexible ticket. But while moving the date the agent said that the united airlines will won't refund the taxes and so we are charging more of $385.00 and he said that its only just $385.00(robbed my hard earned money). They think that they are too smart- but they are non other than thieves or robbers. I really condemn myself since I went over with travelopod. Please please don't even look at their website. I'm done.

Do not use this agency! Did not honor rebooking directives published by Air France/Delta during Coronavirus crisis. Would not put anything in writing. Would not refund ticket or issue voucher, and charged $350 each ticket to rebook. Uses "bate and switch" tactics to entice customers. You are NOT dealing with airline authorized travel agents or AMEX guaranteed airline purchases. Please beware...and watch if they rebrand from Travelopod to another name.

I am new to the Bay Area and heard them on the radio. I have called to book 4 tickets to India with flexible dates. All options provided for me was very expensive except one with very inconvenient travel plan. I have insisted to the agent ( Rachel) that my dates are flexible and I would like to get Air India since it is direct flight to India. The Booking was rushed and she mentioned I have to book it over the phone in 5 min or less to think. I have hesitated but gave in ad booked the flight. The next day when I was browsing, I see Air India flights for almost $225 per passenger. I have called them to cancel but they would not cancel it. I feel I am cheated and was not guided properly. No proper guidance and booking was very rushed and inconvenient Please do not book your flights with Travelopod!

They have the worst kind of employees . I was trying to book a ticket and an agent named Janet contacted me and gave an offer which is much higher than the online flight price and said that's the least available for now and spoke rudely. I happened to get in touch with other agent who offered me the same ticket for much lower and affordable price. I again received a call from that lady named Janet and she spoke as if she's warning me to take the deal only from her and i am not supposed to talk to any other person. Company should concentrate on hiring more humble employees so that customers feel comfortable while taking and not offended. I'm going to write this review everywhere possible to let everyone know what they might have to face if they contact Travleopod for booking tickets
