“Apply for all grants you can. This was my mistake as I was waiting for the big one, but missed so many of the smaller options. When i realized, was too late. I had to re-join this year to make it happen and hit my self in the head for not doing so right away. I applied for the £500 grant; £1,000 grant; £2,500 grant; £5000 grant; £10k grant; £25k grant; £32k grant....it keeps going, so don't mess it up.”

They assigned an expert, Michelle, to me. I worked with Michelle on all of the tasks and now, a few months in, I have my plan, pitch, happy with my financials and we are doing prospecting with grants.
