“Grants were exactly what I was after, and after speaking with Yasmin, I was introduced to several excellent options. After three months of membership with UK Startups, I received my first grant. A £35,000 grant was provided in three parts: £5,000 straight away to cover initial equipment costs; £15,000 deposited into my account, which I can only access once I’ve made a new hire; and another £15,000 that becomes available after my first hire has been with me for three months. Fair conditions, in my opinion, and incredibly beneficial for my business. Today, following my approval, my expert also reached out to let me know about new grant opportunities as well — truly a gift that keeps on giving.”
