Also I now find it annoying, to say the least, that you assured me that the £340 odd was a very competitive rate... even for third party and theft! I had a wide choice of fully comp insurers for under £180. I had one in the end that was fully comp and ticked all the other boxes for £175

“As with most insurance comparisons that I've used the value quoted is rarely the end of the story. This isn't AutoTraders fault, it's down to the brokers and insurers being a bunch of opportunist bandits.
In the end insuring a LWB Crafter for one year cost as much as 3 of my other cars combined - and yes they are also insured for business use - I feel utterly and totally ripped off, but this isn't the place for that rant.”
