“Van Hire Genie -Dangerous, unroadworthy vehicles
Truly the most disgusting hire vehicle I’ve received , late delivery causing us to miss our euro shuttle slot. Ordered a Mercedes Vito got a Ford transit Missing wing mirror, cracked windscreen , missing fuel cap, broken seatbelt fastner , missing emergency hammers to break windows , limiter on van (not mentioned) , delivered empty of fuel and unwashed . Out of date fire extinguisher, filthy seats. Ad blue warning consistently despite filling ourselves (was advised there was ad blue in the vehicle should we need to top up). Upon our return they advised collection between 9-11. Currently sitting here waiting at 2.00pm waiting. Called “Adam” who said he did not have time to deal with this. Having advised him I have reported to DVLA, he advised me to “bring it on” !!!!”
