“Dartford branch. Couldn't test drive due to COVID. Was promised nothing was wrong with the vehicle, great little van. 2 mins after leaving the garage i saw the Aircon didn't work. Called the manager at Dartford, he said 'well it worked earlier, it just needs topping up, I'll book it in with booking team', that never happened! And he didn't answer phone again when I tried to call back and left numerous messages. I called warranty and booked in to Northgate, Northgate couldn't do anything, I don't even think they looked at it despite having it for 3 hours. they booked me in to halfords retail, they couldn't top it up because have no contract with vanmonster or Northgate, they had no idea why a booking with them was made. So I went to independent garage and they told me that it didn't need topping up. The air compressor didn't work. Called vanmonster and they booked it in to halfords auto centre to be topped up even though I told them it doesn't need topping up. There is a fault with the air compressor. Vanmonster confirmed this and said it would be booked in to have the compressor sorted. Halfords couldn't do anything and sent me packing again. Said it was booked in for a top up. Called vanmonster and I wanted a refund on the vehicle but the area manager is away. They've booked me in to a garage to have the compressor looked at. Won't hold my breath. Bought the van on the managers promise, i need it to work a second job as a window cleaner as have a 15 month old baby and a wife battling cancer. The stress is full pelt and vanmonster are making life impossible let alone costing me 4 days money. I feel sorry for the women in customer services because they must deal with so much abuse but the money men obviously don't care about that. Their hands are tied. Shout-out to Maria in customer services and Jordan in bookings for calling back.”
“Very dodgy Customer service, I wanted to buy a vehicle on finance and the finance was accepted, then I had some problems and I didn't buy the vehicle. It is life and this things happens. Unfortunately may be as a revenge Van Monster has reported me to credit score and my credit score went down. It is a big shame, you can't do that!”
“Major engine problems after 4000 miles and evidence of previous service issues, not disclosed by Van Monster. They quote warranty terms and care less about customer service. These Van's are typically leased and driven hard and I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST buying from Van Monster as they will leave you high and dry if you have a problem”

I urge everyone that is thinking to purchase a van from Van Monster, do not do so. I have written down my experience with them, I'am also including my company details, phone and email just so you know is not a fake experience, I can't make people change their mind if they want to purchase a Van, I'am simply trying to worn them base on what happened to me. I have purchased a Peugeot Partner NU66UXZ from Cannock branch on 14.12.2020 for a sum of £8000. I was told the van has been checked and everything is fine, I drove back from Cannock to London same day, While I was on the way I had problem's with the 3rd gear. However I though it has not been drove for a while, that is why the third gear is stiff, however the problem persisted also the DPF filter light came on in the dash, therefore I phoned customer service, I believe on the 30.12.2020,which they booked an appointment at Northgate Croydon, on the 04.01.2021 at 12:50, They kept the car and provided a curtesy car for 2 weeks and after I was told to pick up the car as it has been fixed, as they had hanged the clutch. however on my way back i found the car was still the same, no proof of changing the clutch was issued from either Northgate or van monster.
I was than booked another appointment on the 26.01.2021 at 14:30, which after investigating I was told they need to keep the van as it was a problem with the gear box and they provided me with a curtesy van. After keeping the van for over a month, and been lied with different lies every week, once they waiting for a clutch, they order the wrong clutch, staff are ill with covid - 19, etc etc. I was phoned by van monster on 03.03.2021 at 11:08am to be told that the Van is ready, and I was asked please if you can return the van by the end of the day. I went back at 16:30 Today after leaving a bathroom that I was fixing, and the client without water and toilet available as I told him I will be back in 2 hours.
When I went back I found that the van it was actually still faulty . I told them at Northgate hire, that I'am not taking the Van as is still faulty they said they will look if they can do something to fix it, they said that is nothing that they can do as they are not them that dealt with, so I need to contact Van Monster tomorrow morning, I said ok I'am going as I head left the cars of the curtesy on the Van while unloading my tools from the curtesy Van to my Van, prior to realising that the Van is Faulty, to be told that I can not get the curtesy Van any longer as It was given to someone all's, and I told them I have not signed anywhere, they said is Covid-19 you don't need to sign, I told them to give me any other Van as I have to go back to the client and they said the want do anything as they need to speak to van monster tomorrow. I called Van monster at 17:13 and Mary answer, the same Mary I had spoken, I told her that I had enough and I'am not taking this Van anymore and told her that they are not giving me another Van, she said don't worry leave it with me I call you back in 5 minutes, now is 19:54 no one has called until now. I was told by the Northgate hire to leave the premises or they will call the police to escort me outside, so I had to walk back home for 1:30 minutes from Croydon, had to pay £450 a company to go and connect the water and the toilet to to the client us all my tools where in the Van. Also lost a client which I was meant to go and fix a leak at 08:00 another days work. I never came Across in my life of a similar company.

“Absalute shocking got a new citroen dispatch 65 plate nothing but problems.power stearing went 5 weeks in to owning the van electric windows stoped working now engine fault.its been i the garege 6 times i have only done 2000 miles.had the van 8months as a self employed plasterer. I am pending on my dad to get me two and from jobs. Thought I was getting a reliable work horse. Now van monster don't want to no so waiting on legal advice to get in contact.”
