“They charge you first and then they say they will not ship the order until the age verification is successful , which is kind of difficult when the system don’t always validate it easily. They should do the verification before the payment.”

Hi, we’re really sorry that you were not happy with our age verification process. For reasons relating to technical integration, it would not make good sense to have the verification process before customers finalised their purchase. In fact this would not be a good customer experience and would almost certainly damage our conversion rate. Furthermore, our data analysis shows that our current age verification process works perfectly for 97% of all customers. Whilst you are entitled to your own views, our data shows that your view isn’t shared by 97% of our customers who find the age verification process reassuring from a legal compliance perspective and easy to understand. The verification also only happens only once. Many of our customers are repeat customers.
