The product purchased (Vitodens 100) is very good indeed, and fitted by a very competent and professional company. However, the instruction manual does not include instructions on operating the clock. I emailed Viessmann shortly after installation was complete, (01.10.2017) requesting further information/clarification, but still await a reply.

So far we have been happy with our Viessman boiler which has funtioned reliably. Sometimes the house is too warm and we have had to regulate the heat using the tempreture controls on the radiators, The Viessman seems able to provide powerful heat to all ten radiators in our house. Many thanks and well done Viessmann.

After about a month of my new boiler being installed there was no hot water and the day later there was no heating. The company that installed it sent out someone that night to see if it could be fixed. The weather was very cold and they didn't want me to be without heating and hot water. The engineer couldn't fix it. They contacted Veissman who said no-one could come to me till after the weekend, leaving me a week without heating or hot water. The engineer came from Glasgow just to fix my boiler, instead of someone a few miles away from Aberdeen, which he wasn't very happy with, and I didn't think was efficient. He did a good job and diagnosed that the fan had died. Does this mean it was an old fan? I was happy to pay what I did for the boiler but not one that is faulty! Hopefully the boiler will continue to work especially as it is the middle of winter and I have been well and really don't want to be in the situation of having no heating and hot water again anytime soon! The boiler has been working fine since the replacement, thank you.

Our new heating system has only been in for for 2 months but all seems ok, the installation engineer has been back out to ensure we understand it and the controls. Our only comment at the moment is the size of the tank - which has taken the whole of the airing cupboard! Let’s see how we feel about it in a year or two!

Heating engineer Gary McDonald was very knowledgeable and helpful and did an excellent job of fitting and commissioning the whole boiler and system

Unfortunately the only instructions for setting the timer are written in German so I have not been able to use this. I had no response to email I sent asking for help with this.
