Replaced a Keston boiler that we had for 25 reliable years. It was only replaced because the case got a hole in it. Our heating engineer recommended the Viessman as a quality product. I bought it, he fitted it and serviced it every year. Two months after the warranty ran out the main PCB failed. So it only functioned for 5 years 2 months and cost £380 for part alone. When I eventually got through to customer service they quoted T's & C's and flat right refused to discuss it and put the phone down on me. It's the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I was civil and polite during our interaction so was surprised to find myself talking to myself without even a goodbye I certainly will never buy a Viessman for any of my properties ever again if this is symptomatic of their product and service☹️

Terrible customer service: no one answers the phone or responds to email. This product was highly recommended by our radiant heat installer. Our boiler as part of radiant heat system is currently under warranty but faulty so had to be turned off in the middle of winter. Each "expedited" part ships over 4-5 days and then another part is needed and then another 4-5 days and we are on day 12 of no heat or hot water in the middle of winter. I have yet to speak with anyone. In this day of overnight shipments, here are no distributors outside Rhode Island so everything is delayed. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

broken down twice just outside of the 2 year warranty, broke down first time paid £400 plus and then within 6 weeks broke down again and they are saying I have to pay again the same amount for another call out. Trash boilers. Next time i will install Worcester boilers as my previous properties boiler is going strong for over a decade.

Really disappointed by boiler. No hot water four times in as many years. This is despite annual servicing. Viessmann engineers very difficult to get hold of. Would not recommend this boiler.

Best boiler going... IF.... installed by a Veissman certified installer. My last boiler was a Veissman Vitodens 100, it had run perfectly for 12 years. Veissman, please keep doing what you do best.

Boiler keeps breaking down. Viessmann doing everything other than replace the defective part on their 2 year old boiler. Their warranty is worthless

I have a Weissman boiler. It's excellent. So why only 3 stars? Try to think of a word to describe Wiessman Head Office when you read this account. I ordered a new boiler through the excellent local company who fit and service Weissman boilers for my son. The boiler supplied had parts missing (clips). When fitted, water went everywhere compromising the circuit boards and the fan. New parts were fitted by the local engineer to the new un-commissioned and unused boiler. Weissman was contacted by the local firm and my phone number provided. Weissman Head Office did nothing while I waited for the rest of the day at the house where the family had delayed their removal vans. On the following day a Weissman engineer arrived. He had received a message (from my local engineer) and acted on his own initiative, driving from more than an hour away. He was excellent. He fitted new circuit boards and a fan and checked everything very thoroughly. I returned home to receive a message from Weissman asking me to make an appointment for the work which had just been done. I ignored it, believing Head Office would sort out their errors. Next I received a phone call from Weissman trying to arrange an appointment for the work that had just been done. I told the Weissman agent "Thanks but the work has already been completed." Was that the end of it? No. The following day I received another message from Weissman asking me to make an appointment for the work already carried out the previous day. The boiler is in and has been providing how water and central heating for more than 24 hours. What word would you use for this catalogue of Head Office errors? Mine is incompetent. The boiler is great even though Weissman Quality Control clearly isn't. My local firm is superb. Weissman really need to sort out their communications.

4 days for a warranty call-out children with no heat and water. Outside temperature 3C. Disgusting!

Terribly overpriced and overrated boiler. We’ve had ours for six years and it has now failed 21 times. Many/most components have been replaced over the past several winters and so far this winter it has not failed, but we do not trust it.

Had a Viessmann boiler fitted 5 years ago in that time it broke down once and was fixed under guarantee no problem. I do get it serviced by an approved engineer once a year and that is the answer . Would not hesitate buying another .

Terrible durability and Poor User Experience I regret purchasing the Viessmann boiler due to its unreliable app connectivity and overall frustrating usage. The app is supposed to offer convenient control, but it rarely works as expected. Constant disconnections, errors when trying to adjust settings, and an unintuitive interface make it nearly impossible to use. Even when the app does connect, there’s a significant delay in response from the boiler. Additionally, the boiler itself is overly complicated to operate. Simple tasks like adjusting temperature or setting schedules feel like a chore, and the system isn’t user-friendly at all. For such an expensive product, I expected much better performance and functionality. I would not recommend this to anyone looking for a hassle-free heating solution.

State Of the art expensive combi boiler fitted 4 yrs ago trouble free until now - no central heating. 2 weeks waiting for the Valve replacement part, can't get them from Germany, only one in stock in UK... .Apparently our plumber has 3 similar systems with broken valves. But these systems are massively over complicated, a complex touch screen for the boiler control designed by a boffin for other boffin Gen Z's.... when all you want is an on/off and manual over-ride, not a NASA cockpit.

We purchased a Viessman boiler in 2021 under the expectation they are a decent brand. Unfortunately 2 out of 3 annual services have resulted in the same part braking when the front cover was removed. Leaving us with no hot water or heating for a week each time, as the part doesn't seem to be stocked as standard in any of the main plumbing supply merchants. Viessman customer service is also very snotty, not very understanding and wipe their hands of any responsibility. Even when the boiler was installed, the installer was unable to complete the install on his first or second attempt. It took 2 other engineers to finally get it running! Would not recommend anyone to buy this brand due to the issues we've had.

Hi my boiler was fitted on 1/05/2024 boiler takes ages for water to get to sink downstairs water meter spinning around costs rising, when water arrives average heat, bathroom takes ages to obtain hot water anyway put bath on took ages as per normal, sadly house radiators started to get warm , contractor called engineer diverter valve replaced, sadly water still takes ages to get to sink downstairs and luke warm then goes cold, bath takes ages to get warm and boiler is in bathroom water is warm in bath only time I got hot water was through normal shower attachment, engineer coming out this week customer services said must make you aware could be a callout fee £144.00 I said it's the boiler which is at fault not anything else crazy , I would like to know we're I stand of either them replacing boiler with a new boiler or refund myself of £2500 and leave the bloody boiler and I will replace boiler with a decent one .I've owned many houses and had many new boilers which worked perfect . Probably have to take this company to court

I have experienced extreme difficulty getting the free Service offered for five years with my new Boiler. The Company is impossible to get through to without long waits or constantly ringing back.. First service date given was cancelled due to apparent sickness of the engineer and another appointment was made. When nobody turned up, I called to be told there was no record of such an appointment. I would have to make another one which turned out to be two weeks later. I’m extremely unimpressed with customer support for this company and would suggest to anyone looking to renew their boiler to seriously consider buying elsewhere.

The back up service is dreadful. If you ring and they are busy , no call back is offered. Instead they cut you off and ask you to call back later. Also they have 7 email addresses. I received a message from them and was given the option of ringing, or sending an email to reply. I replied using email. I received a message to say this email address did not exist. I wanted to request that the engineer brought a thermostat with him. I am 73 years old and have been unable to shower or use my central heating for 5 days. Tomorrow (the 6th day) they are due to fix it.

Don't. Get a proper boiler. So.many issues with it not reading the temp.. randomly turns on and you can't shut it off with app even when u set the temp low. Only way is on the boiler itself. The app is stupidity designed . No boost button . Once u change the temp for little heat it changes the setting of program. Typical German idiotic

After all the chaos with different local and insurance engineers stating my boiler was beyond economical repair, I phoned Viessmann to book a one off service/repair. An engineer called Danny turned up, who was like a breath of fresh air, he knew all there was too know, he instantly diagnosed the problem and went through the boiler with a fine tooth comb cleaning it all and explaining what should be done every service and what hadn't been done previously. The boiler is now working without any problems and was advised that as my boileris only 7 years old should last 20 to 25 years if serviced correctly. The customer service is fantastic and Danny was polite, courteous and very professional. Can highly recommend both Viessmann and Danny
