“My experience with the company overall was disappointing. I had no idea I had booked through VIPCars instead of directly with SIXT, as I never received any confirmation email, booking number, or clear communication from VIPCars. I only had a confirmation from SIXT, so when I tried to cancel my car because my dates changed, SIXT wouldn’t allow it, and I spent days going in circles without success.
It’s frustrating not knowing who you’re actually booking with, and this lack of transparency caused a lot of confusion and wasted time. After seeing the system I understand that VIPCars does not send you a confirmation number so you are basically forced to keep your agreement unless you are clever enough and have a few hours to find the way to simply cancel your car. I’m writing this review mainly to highlight the excellent service I received from the individual who helped me from VIPCars, while also being honest about the bigger issues with how the booking process and communication are handled by the company. I would not use the company again to book cars since they won't send a confirmation email from them in case you need to modify the reservation. Why companies do this to clients? Why!! ?”

“Rented a car through vip cars. On landing at the airport the 3rd party hire company used by VIP cars had already cancelled my booking due to no cars available as they had over booked. Ultimately this went from a £150 rental (I had paid a £10 deposit) to a £360 rental as I needed to use another hire company. On speaking to VIP cars they blamed me for not arriving within an hour of the booking, even though I was potentially there earlier but definitely no later than an hour due to slow passport control. So no booking refund and certainly no offer of compensation for the additional cost of £210 for hiring. V poor!”
