It was good. But in the course i was told that plain wedding band is allowed. But when i went to work in Denmark, it was condemned.

The layout was user friendly. There is a progress bar so you can see clearly how far you have progressed through the course. Information was useful and the quizzes were useful to consolidate understanding before final exam.

Well-paced content maybe assessment could have been slightly more rigorous with the removal of obviously frivolous alternatives certificate should carry indication of how long it is valid

Each of the sections were very informative, easy to read and understand. The questions/mini quizzes along the way were very good and helped to consolidate learning. The test at the end however did not reflect the amount of time it took to read through each section. For example, one of the first questions asked something along the lines of 'Why is food hygiene important?'. The multiple choice answers included 'Food hygiene is not important.' and (something along the lines of) 'So food borne allergens can be spread across the UK'. This seemed rather flippant after I had spent several hours diligently reading each chapter and making notes.

A good course, well worth doing and certainly not an "easy"option. Certificate could do with being a little more professional looking though.

Good on-line course, used before and is exactly what was required.

Very well designed, with great illustrations. Only negative was it was very slow - for those of us who are quick readers, it was quite painful!

simple and easy. Some questions asked i the tests did not feature in the information provided but it was still overall a good course which was easy to understand and work through.

I felt that the coursework did not cover some of the questions that appeared in the exam. For example the specifics of the different types of spoilage. It would be good if you could speed up the display of the slides when you have the sound turned off. I imagine that the images were timed to fit with the speaking, but as I did the entire course with the sound turned off it was frustratingly slow waiting for the slide to animate when there was quite a lot of text to be said (I am assuming that the speaker said the same words as the text) It would also be good if there were more links to external sources so you could discover more about a topic. For example you made the comment in one of the first slides that all food processing companies must be registered. But with who and how? A link would have been ideal. Overall it must be said that these are nitpicking items. I enjoyed the course and it gave me a lot of information. I actually took the course because I am an amateur beekeeper, bottling about 400 jars of honey a year. Have you thought of designing a hygiene course for amateurs? There are a lot of beekeepers who extract and bottle honey, also WI jam makers etc who are allowed to use domestic kitchens (with no requirement to register the premises!). I can find nothing online for them, and a lot of us would like to learn more about food hygeine. Drop me an email if you would like to discuss further. Regards Tim Vivian Hanburybees@gmail.com
