“I ordered two pairs of water shoes for myself and my husband. Both arrived promptly (although the tracker they emailed me didn't work) and mine fit very well. I've already worn them to the beach and they're great! Good fit and offer good protection of my delicate feet. Unfortunately, due to the confusing sizing chart on their website, my husband's shoes did not fit and had to be sent back (postage paid by me). I emailed them to get the return reference number and then called to explain that I only ordered the wrong size due to their size chart, but the woman I spoke to was not particularly interested or helpful. I wasn't expecting a refund (in fact, I already ordered the correct size pair from them, and paid postage all over again) but it would've been nice for her to acknowledge that by selling European-sized shoes and then offering their own size conversion chart on their website, they're taking chances. Instead, I was told that they've sold "loads" of these shoes and never had a problem. I won't be ordering from them again.”

Hi Rachel, thank you for taking the time to leave a review, i'm glad you are pleased with both the price and speedy delivery. We do try to use minimal packaging, and recycle as much as possible of the packaging that we receive goods in. However we also want customers to receive their orders in good condition, the bags we use are tough and normally stand up to handling by the carriers. This incident would seem to be an exception as it's the first time we've had a problem reported to us in many years, in fact we often get praise for not 'over packaging' our shipments. “The dive watch I bought had obviously been taken out of the box and had been repacked in a very lazy way, with packaging just shoved in on top of the watch. The watch itself was in good condition and seems to be new and previously unused. But it was a disappointment for it to arrive in that condition.”

Thank you for taking the time to review our service, we are sorry that you were unhappy with the way your watch was packed in it's box. I assume the "packaging just shoved on top of the watch" was some extra bubble wrap that we put in all Cressi watches. The reason is that although a lot of time was obviously put into creating the boxes by Cressi, the boxes actually don't hold the computer watch in place very well and can result in the plastic box causing minor scratches on the screen. Our experience has shown that adding a little extra bubble wrap better protects the screen. Mike George, Managing Director

“I ordered a Chums neoprene floating sunglasses retainer. Website cost £9.99, when it arrived there was a £7.99 price sticker on it. £3.50 for postage seemed a little steep too. The item itself appears to be ok, although I'm not convinced on the quality of the stitching where the sunglass arms fit in to it.”

Hi Mr Long, on investigation it would seem that the item sent to you was picked from our shop floor as we were low on stock and it had been priced incorrectly in the shop. However, as a gesture of goodwill I have refunded the £2 difference in price. To my knowledge we have never had any quality issues with Chums products, hopefully yours will prove satisfactory.
