“Getting divorced can be a very difficult time in your life. I certainly wasn't expecting or prepared for it, and genuinely didn't know how to start the process. I soon realised that choosing to use Watson Thomas was one the best decision I have ever made. I went in to the Consultation a 'crying mess' and came out really believing that I could complete this journey and come out the other end, with the assistance of Kate. I was so pleased that Kate McCarthy had been recommended to me by a friend. I knew from the first time I met her thar she was someone who would be perfect to help me. She was always so kind, approachable and very experienced. Kate was extremely supportive and explained everything to me in a way that I genuinely understood. I was provided with excellent professional advice and guidance along the way. All of the administrative and supporting staff were friendly, courteous and always happy to assist me. I would highly recommend Kate McCarthy and Watson Thomas Ltd to anyone requiring help through a divorce.”

“Samantha Armour and the team at Watson Thomas, guided me through my divorce. It was the most awful and stressful time that I have ever experienced. The advice given and representation from them was outstanding. Proffesionalism always yet warmth and understanding. Myself and my three boys now have a secure future. I cannot thank them enough, through such a anxious and stressful time, someone was always available to discuss, calm and reassure. Here's to my future!”

“I originally connected with Rachel back in 2013 when I was struggling with an issue over child maintenance. She provided me then with very sound and reasoned advice which helped enormously. She has subsequently supported me through a review of my spousal maintenance payments with an objective to reach a final settlement with my ex. This was a difficult time for me, having just been made redundant, and Rachel always showed real empathy with my situation and was extremely supportive. Rachel has a very calm demeanour and takes a clear and objective viewpoint that helps me. Her approach has always been to set out an issue, provided me with the facts, explore alternatives and supported me in making the right decisions. I would often arrive at a meeting, feeling stressed, with a thousand things in my head, and always left with clarity of the route forward and a feeling of calm. Equally in court she provides fantastic reassurance and calmness. Rachel’s team is also very efficient and supportive, and all interactions are very professional. It made a real difference to me to have such a great team supporting me. I have also really appreciated the fixed fee arrangement Rachel offered, so that I could budget with confidence. There is nothing more stressful than legal costs spiralling out of control, as happened to me with my divorce many years ago. If you have a family legal matter that need attention, I highly recommend you approach Rachel and the team Watson Thomas for guidance and support.”

“Watson Thomas have been looking after my divorce and also settlement of my late mothers estate. I have found them to be approachable and very efficient. Very knowledgeable and given me excellent advice . Always explained to me anything I have not understood. Always available and got back to me very quickly when I’ve needed support . I’ve even had replies to emails I’ve sent in an evening and expected a reply in the next business day but had a reply in solicitors own time”
