“So, I bought a timeshare November 2025 and it was, overwhelming with all the information. I rode back to Myrtle Beach, SC from Darlington, SC in March 2026 because I had so many questions. I met with Crystal and she was awesome! When I left, I understood exactly what happened in November 2025. When I signed November 2025, they gave me a coupon to visit a later day to make sure I understand the timeshare. Me and my Fiance' checked in at the Westgate Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Upon arrival I met with Christian and he managed to get us settled in and my room was 416. I reported to Christian that there a mold smell and I'm allergic. I can't breathe. He immediately got me switched out to room 640. This was much better air quality, and still have an ocean view.
The problem came on the morning of May 8, 2026. I sent my fiance' , who is handicapped, to get breakfast for the both of us with a carry out tray for the both of us.
He was turned around and was excorted to the front desk. The front desk told him that breakfast was for only the timeshare tourist that were coming in.
WELL, my thought was, if you invited me back for educational purposes (and key word was invite) then why couldn't we eat breakfast? I totally disagree.
The staff was very nice, and knowledgeable, but the way things were done, I felt was wrong.
Granted, we had money, we have credit cards, or whatever, but I feel if you invite me, A NOW TIMESHARE OWNER, to come stay, the breakfast should have been provided.
I learned that WESTGATE took over Holiday Inn and those are the rooms that are being give to visitors. Now, I'm still paying for my condo and unfortunately I bought the value season. That means that I'm only able to visit the WESTGATE in the months of January, February, and December. That's it!!
I needed an all season where I can travel all year.
From 1 to 5, I rate my stay a 2.
SIANI and ALENA, was the bomb!
I really enjoyed my tour with Siani, and my laughs with Alena.
Other than that, I need Westgate to put the renovation in motion. I didn't care for my room, or the breakfast deal. smh”
