First time using a WeWork and it was an incredibly expensive mistake. We were away from our HQ and had a major pitch meeting scheduled, so booked a conference room for 3 hours at the Holborn site. It was approx. £500(!). We selected one with video conferencing and researched how this worked in advance on their website to make sure we had compatible equipment etc. and came 30 mins before our meeting start, fully prepared. When we arrived at our room (sent up by ourselves, nobody showed us to it), there were no instructions available, so we had to look these up online and followed them to connect. The conference bar connected for sound only, the camera simply didn't work at all. We called for someone to come and help us 20 mins before the meeting start. They didn't come until half an hour later, 10 mins into our meeting, by which point we had been forced to abandon the video conference and huddle around a laptop like absolute amateurs - we may as well have been in a starbucks. The microphone in the WeWork room also then failed, so in front of a panel of 7 client board members we had to mess about finding an alternative for audio, eventually having to use a combination of a mobile phone and a laptop. It was INCREDIBLY embarrassing and made us look completely unprofessional. We raised the concern on our way out with someone called Sara - she didn't really seem to care and said her manager Max would contact us. They haven't. This was a pitch for £6m of business and because we relied on WeWork we are genuinely terrified that we have fluffed it because of how awkward this was. £500 for this level of service is absolutely insane. They should spend more money on hardware that actually works and people to properly set you up in a room instead of baristas and table tennis tables. A complete joke of a business, never again.

Cramped claustrophobic workspace with inadequate ventilation - stuffy air and narrow corridors feel suffocating. Phone booths are literally difficult to get in, they are so tiny. Network extremely slow (~50MBps and this is if you use wired connection, WiFi is slower). Very noisy.

- Overpriced conference room access Understaffed Lavazza coffee + Good locations Not overcrowded (at least the ones I went to). My main gripe is that I pay hundreds of dollars a month and then the minute a I want to use a white board I have to the monthly credits which isn't enough for a single room rental for any amount of time. So then I'm being charged every single time I want a white board. The points don't accrue. You lose them. Just seemed like an unnecessary hustle. I can get "desk space" at any Starbucks in America. The conference rooms with white boards was critical and they gouge you for it. I'd be cool if there was a minimal amount of access for a general fee. But I find it hilarious you want to charge "surge prices" for a bunch of empty space. Good luck with that. I can see why the stock has tanked.

Awful experience. They are super quick to get your money, but when it comes to the actual registering of membership, access to the building, access to bike storage and shower facilities, they are unhelpful. Numerous and unnecessary e-mails when you are set-up. Before going ahead with the membership, I was told that there was bike storage on the membership, however, this was contrary to what the receptionist said on the day at the building. I e-mailed Frank and April (they took the initial booking but no response from either. Run a mile, there are plenty of better, competitive facilities available in London now.

I would avoid! This is for Dublin Landings 2 in Ireland. - they do not have enough staff or adequate processes to meet the basic needs of the business/members. Have attempted to contact there support for being incorrectly billed to no avail for the past number of weeks. Number rings out, support tickets go unanswered / ignored. Either they don't wish to help their members or they can't as they don't have the capacity. Either is unacceptable. I would recommend alternatives - Dogpatch Labs in Dublin for example, far cheaper and better support.

Free trial scam I wanted to tour a WeWork office and was told that they don't do tours because of COVID so they offered me a 1 month free trial. I signed up but cancelled after two weeks. Despite cancellation they charged my card £325 (more than was even quoted), I submitted a request for a refund, the response just gave me some generic cancellation information, I tried to call different contact lines and received no call back. I emailed the people who sold me the free month trial and they simply said it can only be handled through their customer support. I am on hold as I write this now. Either the free trial is a scam or their operations are poor. Either way, don't bother with this company.

Minority-owned businesses, please BE AWARE! If you're a minority-owned business, this is not the place for you. "We work" lives up to their name when it comes to "selective policy enforcing" (i.e. discrimination and harassment). When I reported issues with security officer who was leaving my clients out of in the freezing cold temperatures of Minneapolis, instead of backing up the interest of my business and my clients, management started harassing me by ordering to terminate my binding contract immediately without any warning or explanation of any violations (or perceived violations) that me, my clients, or my business may have incurred in. Furthermore, after arranging a move out day that allowed me to fulfill my work-related commitments until the ned of the month, I received a harassing call from the Midwest manager falsely accusing me of hosting an unauthorized gathering and not having people properly registered, which was not the case. They deactivated my card and I had to cease services to my clients that day. I was not able to move out in the formerly agreed time, and grabbed whatever I could so I can get out of the building before the situation got more dramatic. I lost over 20K in revenue due to the harassment and discrimination experienced by the WeWork staff. If you want to have peace of mind and save attorney's fees and a headache, please STAY AWAY from this office network because their corporate discrimination is real.

We are trying to pay a wework bill for an apartment but the "wework" web link is not working for us. We offered to pay by credit card or check (or even to bring cash to the desk) but NO - we can only pay by the link and all the help we get is to tell us go to the same link that does not work for us. Most companies have a business model that makes it easy for customers/clients to make payments - but "wework" does not follow this seemingly sensible business model. Clearly the vast majority are able to make payments, but when the system, has a glitch it seems there are no other ways forward. Who knows where this will land up - but right now it is not "we work" but "weworkdoesnotworkforus"
