My experience with Window Hub has been frustrating from the start. I first met with them in January 2025, and a surveyor came out in early February. I ordered four windows, expecting a smooth upgrade from my six-year-old windows, which were working fine. Instead, it’s been months of problems and delays. On installation day, I was told all the windows had been checked in advance. However, the French windows were fitted with handles on the outside – an obvious mistake, especially as the window is on the first floor and should never open from the outside (unless by a burglar on a ladder). It took two visits just to sort this. Since then, there have been repeated failed attempts to get things right. At one point, the factory cut the hole for the vent in the wrong place, causing it to catch on the frame. A new sash was ordered (twice), but the brackets were too weak and made the window impossible to clean – which was one of the features I had specifically wanted. The so-called “easy clean” brackets were no better, and eventually a completely new window had to be ordered. Appointments have also been cancelled at short notice. On one occasion, I was told late in the day that a visit wouldn’t happen, only for it to be rebooked for a Saturday. The installer promised to come on his day off so I wouldn’t need to take time off work, but on that Saturday I was told again that he wouldn’t be coming due to yet another order issue. Communication has been poor throughout. I’ve dealt with multiple people, all polite enough, but there was no proper coordination. I’ve wasted countless hours chasing updates and trying to get things resolved. I chose this company based on positive reviews, which now I find hard to believe. This hasn’t been a one-off mistake – it’s been problem after problem, dragging on for months. I had thought about replacing three more windows in the future and wanted them to match, but after this experience, I wouldn’t risk using Window Hub again. At one point, Piotr from their head office offered me a discounted quote as an apology. When I compared it with a local family-run company, I found their premium windows were actually cheaper than Window Hub’s “special” offer. For a long time I didn’t plan to write this review, but I changed my mind after discovering they had only issued a FENSA certificate for one window. After I raised it, this was eventually corrected. A few weeks later, I then found out the warranty was also issued for just one window. My first email about this was ignored, but after chasing a second time, Chris, the Operations Director, did finally resolve it quickly. The fact remains: getting four windows installed properly and the paperwork corrected took eight months and cost me hours of wasted time. Based on my experience, I honestly don’t know how this company is managing to run a business. I’ve given them two stars because, while the process was very poorly handled, everyone I spoke to was polite and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, good manners don’t make up for the repeated mistakes and delays.

I don't usually do this but I was very disappointed with this company. I needed a quote for two smaller windows. After measuring up I was then led through the process of since I was retired I'd get 40% off. The quote came to £3,166 which I thought was astronomical. That was with the 40% off. I was told they needed to use scaffolding which pushed the price up. After much tooing and frooing the quote came down to £2,600. I said I would think about it as I had others coming for quotes. Finally had it all done for £1,200 & no scaffolding was needed. They were installed from the inside. Your windows might be top quality but the sales pitch is hard.
