Wood and Beyond tell all customers that if you leave a 5 star review before the flooring is delivered, you will get 5% off, which is misleading. The service once you pay, is massively disappointing and very poor. Agreed delivery time and date and having paid this company in full they now tell me (on the supposed day of delivery, over an hour after they agreed delivery would be made to us) that the flooring is "still in the warehouse and will be picked up shortly." Do not pay this company up front as once you have paid, they are dismissive and unwilling to actually help. To make matters worse, their delivery is only to the kerb side, meaning the customer has to unload it all themselves. Company also told us on the phone that we should order extra flooring because we can always return it for "just a small delivery fee." When it came to the return, they told me that they will only refund 70% and that we needed to pay a delivery fee of around £100. Would not recommend this company and we will not be using them again.

Sham company, poor quality floorings. Rude staff and terrible customer service by someone called Josh. Within weeks of my floor fittings, paint started peeling and cracking. Sham company doesn’t even honour warranty. Please save your money and avoid the stress of dealing with this company. Oh and I am being threatened with legal action for sharing my bad experience. Please be warned.

I was delivered two pieces of long heavy work service, it was not only damaged but the staves were not joined together correctly leaving huge gaps and uneven surface. My carpet ter had to cut round them leaving me short , they would not accept any responsibility for this . The only resolution they offered was if I bought a huge piece at a reduced price. I shouldn't have had to do that they should have sent it to me free. They kept denying it was their fault and it must have happened in my home. Really?? I don't manufacture it, and it was clearly a manufacturing problem. And they must have known it was like that when they sent it. Disgusting customer service DONT BUY FROM them. I have never ever received such awful, accusatory, don't care about the customer, service. The photos show the gap with a cog in it, how can that be a good work surface .

Please consider this a warning. I was swayed by reviews which now i know how the company gets from their customers. Once you have placed your order the company entices you to leave a review to get a discount. I had not received the order yet and so i left a review of my interaction that far. However the real issue began when we were suppose to receive our order. 2 days before we are told the wood we had selected was received damaged in their warehouse and so they will send us similar wood. We were running out of time and so had to accept their replacement. However this was not the end. After laying the wood , just a few days later we saw the wood popping up here and there. initially we thought it was our builders issue. however after getting many opinion, we are convinced its the wood as it just does not lock in many places. My newly done house is a hazard now as wood is pooping up every where. We raised this with wood and beyond team and they have done nothing. They do not answer the emails and the calls. We are still in the process of getting some resolution but we just wanted to warn others.

I am very pleased with the service we have received from Wood and Beyond. The flooring looks good and was a competitive price, the staff were all helpful and they even accepted two boxes back because there was a mistake in the initial order. Couldn't fault them.

Very disappointed! Poor quality flooring. Got promised everything and let down, Delivery late! Customer care, didn't care!!! Please please please use another company.!!!!!

Please please please! Avoid this company!!! They will promise you the world to get your order, then avoid at all costs to deal with returns or refunds!

The initial customer service and delivery was excellent. We purchased 45m2 of LVT, however within a week of the floor being laid it was covered in scratches (despite us following all the care guides). In our experience it certainly does not live up to how hard wearing and durable it claims to be. Extremely disappointed that the company were not willing to accept responsibility and do anything about it. I would absolutely not use them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

I rarely write reviews however I am DISGUSTED by Wood and Beyond and feel compelled to do so, to warn others- whilst they may be cheaper than other companies and having looked at the reviews initially they seemed reasonable. THIS IS NOT THE CASE!! On delivery 14 of the 30 boxes were damaged on raising this with Wood and Beyond a mere 2 days later they stated they could only offer 2 boxes “as a good will gesture and it was our fault”. They were RUDE and sent threatening emails to my mother about taking her to court when the case was being disputed through our bank (Not having any consideration or empathy for my mother who was medically unwell at the time) Apparently you are not able to have conversation over the phone because “they don’t know” and need to liaise via emails. For your own sake DO NOT USE!! Save yourself the hassle- this truly is a VILE company.

Stay away!! The wood delivered to us was completely different to that on the website, and the veneer 2mm instead of the advertised 3mm. We made the 90 minute (each way) journey to discuss the issues and were met with an obstructive returns manager who wasn’t willing to help and preferred to charge for the return collection and lose an exchange order. Her manner was incredibly aggressive and rude. Beware!

Worst customer service I have ever recieved. Product clearly sub standard. Refused to except fault, cost me £300 to return the solid oak work top. Finally gave me a refund weeks after receiving them back but not for the return shipment cost. Do not deal with this company!!!

This company has no regard for its customers. I was advised to put a deposit down to secure the wood I was going to order. I wasn't told that the wood would be held for 6 months and had I been told I wouldn't have paid the deposit as I was still awaiting architects' drawings and planning permission. Towards the end of the six months I've been told this week that I was sent an email telling me that the six months was nearing the end. I received no such email. I've called many times this week to speak to the director Mr Agonai to see if he can source the decking for me. He hasn't taken my calls and his poor sales lady Viktoria has been told to just repeat their policy to me. Customer service is everythig - its a shame Wood and Beyond don't realise this.
