“Visited the Harrogate shop recently. I had never heard of this company, and what a delight it was to browse (and buy) such excellent products…..the quality is outstanding. Plus the service was very professional and of an age when courtesy and service were the watch words of any good emporium. Very satisfying customer experience altogether.”

“In this on-line-age where everything seems to need to be fast, trivial and transient it is a joy to be welcomed into a business that respects its customers, deals with them with friendliness, interest and care and gives good value for what they sell and do. Harrogate used to be full of such businesses. Those few that survive or which are new but emulate these values and practices need to be supported and cherished. They are of greater value than one might alwasy realise.”

“Delighted to find a well insulated, supple oldfashioned oven glove. A shame it wasn't more elegantly finished for carrying hot dishes to the dining table. Prompt delivery, ecologically sound packaging. I shall certainly look to Woods for future household linen purchases”

“Fantastic products on offer and delightful service. I was having a issue with my computer so ended up ordering over the phone. I spoke to a really helpful, cheerful lady and in no time at all a brown paper package tied up with string arrived. The sheet are exactly as described ad next time I need linen I shall be ordering again. Proper linen departments in stores have been fast disappearing but Woods has restored my faith that not all have evaporated!”
