Despite booking a gold new wave caravan, expecting it to be in good condition as new for 2017, we were disappointed to find it so filthy. Clean is a standard expectation which was not met at all. I don't think think the floor had ever been mopped and bathroom was revolting. I asked for it to be cleaned and when went back to caravan, I found some cleaning products had been left for me to clean myself! Have included a photo of a cloth after one wipe of the door, the whole floor was like this. I could not get rid of all the dirt.

Plenty of facilities for the kids to enjoy that's why we keep coming back! Friendly staff and the prices for camping in August are very reasonable.

Easy booking. simple reception, good facilities. My holiday experience was slightly marred by distance from camping field to toilet block and reception. I would of expected toilet and washing facilities on the top field and a pedestrian route from the top field through to the road adjacent to the main entrance.

As parents with teens, we enjoyed the surf simulator, tennis, bowling, golf and Cleveland area out-door pool. The beach was great and we could travel out to other beaches by car. Saunton Sands was a great discovery. We loved the food in the Old Mill, the carvery was fantastic.

CUSTOMER SERVICE - I booked this holiday in May and paid over £1000, we arrived at 2.30pm and was told our caravan wasn't ready till 3pm we were given the key and told we could enter when the cleaner was ready - we parked our car outside the caravan and went for food, only to return at 3pm to find another family in our caravan - who told us they weren't happy with their original caravan and was given ours as a replacement, we went to reception to sort this out - the only options we were given was to have their rejected caravan (which was by the main road to site, situated on a uneven slope to a 3ft drop to the car park, the caravan rocked every time we walked across it - with 5 yr old child this is not very safe, she stumbled a few times at the bottom of the steps) we paid for a Gold caravan and wanted what we paid for not someone else's cast off, with no-where to park as it was right by the supermarket (we were told that they could get a registration no. plate and phone to ask the car owner to move their car for us, to do this every time we go out in our car is ridiculous, and also bad service to the other car owner. This whole situation started our holiday off to a bad start, we had arrived at 2.30, but didn't get a caravan till 5.30pm and had a 5 year old and myself in tears. The only option we had was either accept the cast off caravan, pay an extra £400 for a upgrade or go to another site in Woolacombe - I'm not a complainer and was not trying to get a upgrade for nothing but I feel we were treated badly even though Woolacombe bay accepted responsibility for this mistake. In the end we had to stay in the cast off caravan for 2 nights before we were moved to another Gold, we should not have had to make this upheaval in the 1st place, but arrived to our new caravan to find we had no hot water in the shower (this was rectified quickly, but was another inconvenience to us) - we were given a meal voucher for 2 adults & 1 child, which I feel by no means made this situation right, only to find that when we tried to use it we were told the curry was off the menu (3 days running i might add) from returning to my table to get a substitute meal I was informed by the same barman that I had to re-queue again in order to replace my order. Woolacombe Bay can really work on their customer Service! The location and facilities are nice, however it is over crowded on evening entertainment, if you manage to get a table you often had other people hovering over you.

great campsite in a great location, the staff couldn't do enough for us and really helped when I had issues with my car. you can use the facilities of all 4 parks during your stay, and all offer something different from the others. Easewell farm is the smaller of the 4 sites, they offer free snooker in the bar, free skittles, indoor swimming pool, all of which we used a lot. Close to the amazing woolacombe bay beach. A fabulous holiday, I would highly recommend staying at Easewell Farm.

As we have not been to Woolacombe Bay yet this is based on the booking process. There is a lot of information to take in about the various parks and we wanted to try a short break ahead of potentially booking our summer holiday at the park next year. Not knowing the sites makes it difficult to make a decision and unfortunately we intially booked at potentially the wrong site. After a further discussion with the family about the sites it was disappointing to find that a few hours after booking I was told that moving the booking from one site to another was not technically covered because I hadn't selected the holiday protection option and changing my booking would incur an increased fee and an admin charge. I would have understood if I was attempting to cancel my booking but I was just attempting to locate my family on the most appropriate site. In that respect the website could be clearer with more accommodation images and location information readily available before the booking process.
