I was asked to send the details of my complaint along with the order number. I then received a very apologetic email stating that I would receive a full refund. This was totally unexpected and obviously well received. My faith in the company has been restored. I have removed my orignal review and am more than happy to post this positive one.
By coincidence my son ordered four books and they arrived in an excellent condition. In fact one looked as though t had never been opened at all. I can only presume that my misfortune was the result of ordering a book which was not readily available. In summary, as a result of my experience both bad and good I have no hesitation in recommending World of Books and especially Adam in Customer Services. They are lightweight, well padded for impact and perfect for what I needed. They offer a snug secure fit and so may need a bit of use before they bed in for those with larger hands. The pads were received in good time and came securely packaged. After using these pads for a few months I can highly recommend them.”
