I placed an online order for headphones with delivery promised within 6 days, as I urgently needed them for work.

Ordered a sofa that arrived with half of it missing. Argos told me they couldn't help and would need to cancel the order. I re-ordered and the delivery date given was right at the end of the 11 week wait time. This delivery has now been pushed back a further 8 weeks with no call or email to explain why!

Ordered a TV online, order accepted, delivery confirmed, payment taken. Next day Argos cancelled the order and now tell me they won't refund my money for 7 days ! DO NOT EVER USE Argos.

I've contacted Argos EIGHT times - a mix of letters (by Recorded Delivery to Widnes HQ), emails, phone calls, and even going on Facebook (shockingly, this seems to be their preferred method of conducting customer communications!!).
