Very confusing and the prices quoted were misleading. Too many additional options that bump up prices. Tbh all comparison sites are doing this now and it puts me off purchasing from them.

Having completed my insurance change I’ve attempted to book several food & film opportunities and every time. They’re either fully booked or unavailable Absolute rubbish

I got an AGL connection through them despite already being an AGL customer through another connection on the understanding that I don't lose anything if I directly apply to AGL. I ended up losing the Amazon prime subscription given to direct clients. They maybe covered legally but they misled me in the spirit of the law. So I would strongly suggest caveat empte/buyer beware if you use the site or directly apply because there is no benefit. very very disappointing.

Looks like you guys compare some of the market, I found a better deal on my own after the limited choices I get using your service.

It's all good when till the time they mess up your quotes. I have been a customer since 2019.i had a sp30 conviction. This year when I tuk a new insurance quote it just went missing from te quote and the insurance company 1st central asked me to pay another 700 pounds to make changes. Now they blame each other and when that is done they come up with a reason that I deleted it just before taking this. Particular quote. How easily they came up to a solution. My suggestion take screen shots with time and date before you go ahead with the quote.they will never accept if they screw up your life.

Promised a discount when signing up on first years Premium - never applied it. Contacted Insurance company and they said it was for Compare the Market to apply, contacted Compare the Market and they said it was already applied. The way the discount is advertised is dodgy - it makes you think the discount is yet to come off the advertised price. In the end Compare the Market didnt save me money, it cost me money as I wouldnt have gone for the Policy I did. Clever business-wise though - must be why they have such a large TV advertising budget.....

Its marketing offers a cute toy but it's not easy to understand how to get one. You take a policy out ask for advice and your told your ouf of time with a claim despite trying and failing to find out. We are taking days not weeks but no customer support or service. Awful marketing

The prices for car insurance where double the amount the tide is changing I got cheaper quotes going direct to insurance companies and it's annoying how it gives you the telematics quotes there should be a tab so you don't have to have them if you do a lot of miles it's not worth having this kind of insurance as you have to buy top up miles which can make you pay upto 3 times the amount of normal car insurance nobody knows how many miles they are going to do it's just a guess but this guess can cost you hundreds more

I went on this website and bought car insurance. During the process I declared a previous accident. I ticked ALL the boxes to OPT OUT OF ALL COMMUNICATIONS, from Comapre the Market and their associated business partners. Since then, I've been PLAGUED with phone calls relating to my previous accident (which was years ago, and all sorted). The callers are VERY insistent, and get quite rude whe I say I'm not interested. DON'T USE COMPARE THE MARKET. NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY, THEY WILL PASS ON YOUR DETAILS AND PEOPLE WILL CONTACT YOU (AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN... AD INFINITUM...) When I'm done with this review, I'm going to report them to the Information Commisioner. You should too if you get the same problem. No doubt, I'll now get the standard cut and paste response from Compare the Market. Too late. You broke the rules. Especially as I'm registered with the Telephone Preferences Scheme to opt out of these stupid, annoying calls.

Used compare the market for the last few years but this year was unimpressed. The best 2 quotes apparently couldn't be completed online and required me to ring the insurance company direct. When doing this I had to go through the automated process of entering my quote reference and date of birth online. I then got through to what sounded like an Indian call centre, and was asked for my name and date of birth again (for data protection purposes). The whole process seemed a bit dodgy to me so I told them to forget it and put the phone down I'll stick to my existing insurer for the sake of £50 thanks.

After entering details on their website and transferring to pay 3 different insurance quotes, both prices were incorrect and more importantly the policy details were different, so what's the point of using? went direct to insurance sites for a direct quote which all were a higher quote, than quoted by comparethemarket.com, amazingly end up the same price when transferred via compare the market, a bit of trickery I think, most likely by unscrupulous insurance companies that need better regulation, buyer beware.
