RUN AWAY DONT send your but backs. They will claim that certain book needs to be send to the publisher for verification. And your payment is delayed. You never hear back from that book and forget about payment. It will be so costly to actually send the book to the publisher, then the publisher having employees to verify it and send in back again that is more possible that ecampus just do this to keep the high value books without paying from them. Scam.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. The rental books are a scam. I rented 2 books and returned them at the end of the rental period in perfect condition. Two weeks after the books were returned to their warehouse I received an email stating that the books are damaged and they charged my credit card. I've gone back and forth with this company and when I ask for pictures of the damage, they sent pictures of text books of a different subject. When I pointed out that those are not my books they sent me more pictures of damaged books that are not the books that I returned. They charged me full rental price plus the full cost of each book totaling almost double the book value. If I want my books back they want an additional $12 shipping and I want get the books that I returned because the books I mailed them were in perfect condition. This company is a scam, predator that steals from parents and students.

Scammers. They sent me an email saying they received the books and they had to go through them. Now they’re sending me emails telling me that they don’t have the books so they can’t give any money. Scammers!

Terrible experience selling back books. No communication, and it takes weeks to process. Plenty of other sites out there that do this better. RUN or RUSH to others to SELLBACKYOUR books.

As soon as I was aware of the text needed for my class, I scoured the internet looking for someone that could get me the text I needed in time for my class or at least as close as possible. I found eCampus and according to the site, my book would be sent in time. I even paid for express delivery. I ordered my book NEW and waited. To my dismay, the book arrived 2 weeks after my class had started and it was NOT new. There were pen markings/notes in one of the chapters. I had to argue to get my express delivery payment refunded since the book was not delivered via over night. I will NEVER order from this site again nor will I ever recommend this site to anyone. OH! And all customer service is done via chat. You cannot speak to a person. No one picks up the phone. Just HORRIBLE service.

Do not rent from this place. Rented a text book that was in fair condition (highlighted, warped pages, etc). When I returned the book, they told me I needed to buy a new one to replace the poor one they originally sent. When I disputed this, I didn’t receive a response. I just checked my account and they tried to charge me an additional $170!!! I will be filing a formal complaint.

eSCAMpus is horrible. They charge WAY too much money for textbooks and also do not allow returns on ONLINE textbooks...what a joke they are. They are making so much money taking advantage of the fact that college students need new textbooks now because of access codes and how even if you rent a textbook and get it cheap you still need to buy an access code.

Run away!!! Do not order books from eCampus.com. They sent me a book torn up. Every page is only half of the page. The haft pages are full written. When I tried to return the book, I had to pay shipping again. They do not care about the customer. They want your money. These people are scammers.

DO NOT ORDER FROM ECAMPUS! Ordered from them more than once. They charged my card but never received book or ebooks. Tried for weeks to access an ebook after being charged and was not available. 2 months after my child started his classes he still has not textbook. NO ACCOUNTABILITY and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. There isn't even a Customer service number to call. BUYER BEWARE! This sight does not provide books or any service.

I ordered two books from eCampus.com as rentals. I returned them 5 days late. They charged me $65 for the late fee (buying the books instead of returning them at all would have costed me $30). When I contacted them, they said they would give me 75% of the late fee back but it would take 30 days to show on my bank account. After 30 days and still no refund, I contacted them and they said the books were damaged and they wouldn't refund any money. They did not provide proof of damage, and if they were damaged, why would I send them back at all?! They said they would send the books back to me since I couldn't get a refund. A week later, they emailed me (first time they EVER emailed me, without me emailing them first) stating they had thrown the books away and there was nothing they could do to assist me further. They said I had a week after they deemed the books unacceptable, to claim them in order for them to be sent back. BUT they NEVER email me AT ALL stating the books were damaged OR that I had a certain time frame to claim them. So basically, they charged me $105.46 for books that were worth about $70, then supposedly threw them away and refused to help further. I will NEVER use this service again.

Don't rent or buy textbooks from ecampus.com if you can help it. My son prefers physical textbooks so I set out to find copies to rent. Ecampus had the best price and availability so I placed the order there and paid extra for expedited shipping. We found out the day my son was supposed to receive the books that ecampus had canceled the order. I contacted customer service and asked why the order was canceled and for it to be reinstated. They could not tell me why the order was canceled. They also said that the order could not be reinstated, I would have to create a new order and that my money would be refunded in 3-5 business days. I create the new order only to discover that rental prices and shipping costs have increased. The order total ended up being close to $200 more. I contacted customer service again to see what they could do. The best they could offer was a $15 credit and upgraded shipping (since I had already paid for expedited and the books were now late by my timeline). That certainly does not cover the price increase so I asked to speak to a supervisor. Turns out, ecampus customer service doesn't have a phone number and they can't just bring a supervisor into the conversation. They have to put in a request for a supervisor to contact me and once the request is received, a supervisor is supposed to reach out within two business days. I put in multiple requests before receiving a response from a supposed supervisor. The supervisor said, "I apologize your order with us on 8/23/23 was cancelled. Our system evaluates many factors to determine if your order might be fraudulently placed. But ultimately it is a system and can cancel an order in error. I apologize but we are unable to price match previous pricing on our website as the prices we offer often fluctuate based on supply and demand for the product. I show that an agent has already upgraded your shipping method for your replacement order and applied $15 of instore credit. Thank you for contacting A Book Company! If you have any further questions, respond to this email or start a chat with us." Are you kidding me?! I'm beyond frustrated. It really seems as if the order was canceled because they knew a price increase was coming and I have to wonder how many customers they did this to. Where I work, if a customer was treated like that someone would be in trouble.

DO NOT BUY!! Ordered a book OVER A MONTH AGO and it never arrived. When I spoke to someone over the phone they said they would offer me a refund if I didn't receive the book after 8 business days. Emailed and called and still no refund. I had to dispute the charge with my cc company in order to get a refund.

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They are complete frauds! I sent in 3 APA publication books that were bought from my university’s bookstore. I attend a school with over 50k students, so I do not question if they sell authentic books. I sent them to Ecampus and they said that the publisher questioned the authenticity and per their guidelines and policy the publisher would be destroying them and I get nothing, not even my property back! Bottom line they stole my books that were brand new for pure profit! I will not give up on reviews or writing them over my property, this is completely wrong!
