“Back to Vietnam and Laos with Exotic Voyages! We have just returned from two weeks in South East Asia on a tour arranged by Annie of Exotic Voyages. As with previous trips, all of the details were handled perfectly; visas and transfers were seamless; guides were informative and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the special activities that were planned for us: a private tour of the ethnographic museum in Luang Prabang was wonderful; the trip to the organic vegetable farm in Hoi An was fun! Unfortunately, no one could completely remove the cloud of coronavirus which hung over our trip. Sadly, no amount of hand sanitizer or masks could completely eliminate our concerns. Nonetheless, Exotic Voyages did their best to keep us safe and happy under trying circumstances.”

“Vietnam/Thailand Trip of a Lifetime! MP helped me plan our 16 day vacation that included a seaplane, a 2 night cruise on Halong Bay, sightseeing in Hanoi and multi-city tour of Thailand with amazing guides and activities including getting a tattoo in Bangkok. She booked an incredible personalized itinerary. Every detail was perfect and travel was easy every step of the way. Thu went the extra mile when we were undecided if we should postpone our trip. It was agonizing and she was patient, calm and reassuring. When we were not satisfied with our room, she took care of it and solved it immediately. She was very professional and responsive. “Best Honeymoon ever! I can’t express how professional, punctual, and patient Thu Hang (Lucy) was as she was helping me plan my surprise honeymoon for my wife. I went back and forth so many times and had her do roughly 11 versions for me! By that time people would quit and not want to continue to work with you but she never gave me that feeling. She always responded fast and advised me in the best ways possible. ALL my future trips will be planned through Lucy and exotic voyages. We had a dream trip. Thailand and Indonesia is to never forget! Thanks Lucy!!!”

“Séjour organisé 11 jours Yangoon, Bagan, Mandalay, Inlee Tout notre voyage c'est bien passé avec l'agence Myanmar Diaries, "Trang ", notre organisatrice a été très réactive. Nous avons été accompagnés pendant nos 11 jours par notre guide francophone, "Aye Aye Myint" qui a été formidable. Nous avons beaucoup appris de la culture Birmane et effectué toutes les visites programmées , voire plus. Visites départ entre 8h30 et 9h, hormis pour les vols intérieurs où le départs étaient plus tôt, jusqu'à 17h ou 18h. Toujours ponctuels. L'organisation a été sans faute. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié d'avoir le même guide tout le séjour qui est très cultivée et très disponible. Les chauffeurs aussi ont été très bien. Nous aurions toutefois aimé avoir de plus petits hôtels sur Yangoon et Mandalay dans un quartier plus animé. Les quartiers n'étaient pas agréables et pas de restaurants autour, surtout à Yangoon où nous sommes arrivés le 31 décembre. Mais la chambre avait une belle vue sur la pagode Shwedagon. Nous recommandons d'aller au "Myanmar Marionette Theatre" à Mandalay. Dans notre séjour, nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir fait le trajet en bateau de Bagan à Mandalay. Pour Bagan, nous avons eu beaucoup de chance avec le vol en Montgolfière car il faisait beau ce jour là. Le meilleur Hôtel est celui de Bagan, la maison Dalabua puis ensuite celui de Inlee . Les personnels sont très très gentils et nous y avons très bien mangé. Christine”

“2 semaines de découvertes en Birmanie Voyage itinérant à la découverte de ce beau pays, en avion, train, bâteau et voiture. Séjours dans plusieurs hôtels charmants: tout cela s'est déroulé parfaitement, sans anicroche, grâce à l'organisation efficace et très bien huilée de Linh Chi, d'Exotic Voyages, qui m' a concocté un séjour sur mesure, en tenant compte de mes attentes. Les guides sympatiques étaient très professionnels et connaissaient bien leur sujet (en particulier Naï à Mandalay). Chauffeurs très attentionnés à Mandalay et Bagan. Je recommande.”

“14 day Private Military, Cultural, Historical Tour We were extremely happy with the tour from Exotic Voyages. Everything worked out perfectly. We had the best tour guides. They took us to the best places and they explained everything,they were all bi-lingual. In the Hanoi office Hoa was our tour director. Hoa is the perfect tour planner. Hoa planned an excellent tour for us !!! We were able to plan exactly what we wanted, Hoa knew what would make the very best tour for us. We were glad we could plan it together with her knowledge. We started with a flight from the US to HoChiMen City. Our 14 day tour ended in Hanoi. Wow what memories...... Hoa was fantastic!! Thank you, Bill & Georgia”

“Privat-Rundreise Myanmar Quynh Hoa hat diese Rundreise nach unseren Wünschen geplant. Wir hatten in Bagan, Mandalay, Inle See und Yangoon jeweils einen Guide und Fahrer, die alle einen hervorragenden Job gemacht haben (Zuverlässigkeit, Pünktlichkeit, Ortskenntnisse und informativ). Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Diese Reise hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Bemerkenswert waren zwischenzeitliche Anrufe und Mails aus der Zentrale mit Nachfragen bzgl. unserer Zufriedenheit.”

“Best 14 days Tour around Thailand A very big compliment to Ha Vy, Mai Phuong, and everybody involved in setting up our Thailand itinerary. From the moment our first tour guide Patrick picked us up at the Laem Chabang cruise port (near Bangkok), until the last day, 14 days later, when we were guided through Bangkok Airport, to transfer from domestic to international check in, every moment we spent under "the wings" of Exotic Voyages was remarkably well organized. Thanks to local tour guides we discovered the real Thailand, local cultures, food and markets, not Tourist traps! All tour guides during our private tour were well english spoken and have an excellent knowledge of every corner in Thailand. All the Hotels Exotic Voyage have booked for us were 5 star, well selected and centrally located to the places we wanted to see. I can certainly highly recommend Exotic Voyages to everybody who wants to discover the REAL Thailand! Thank you for an excellent job done!”

“Voyage parfaitement organisé! Ce séjour en Birmanie a été une vraie réussite.Nous sommes partis à 4 et il n'y a jamais eu le moindre soucis: hôtels d'excellente qualité, très bons guides (en particulier le jeune Than sur le lac Inle et Aung Zay à Bagan),. Les transferts se sont toujours effectués à l'heure avec de bons chauffeurs et des véhicules en parfait état. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette agence et particulier le travail de Linh Chi qui a préparé notre séjour!”

“Cambodia/Vietnam My husband and I planned a trip to Seam Reap, Cambodia and Vietnam for 10 days. From the initial planning to the execution, Exotic Voyages, did a fabulous, professional, well planned, well thought out itinerary for us. The guides and drivers were all very kind and knowledgeable. The hotels were just what we were looking for. They were available to help us with any questions, or concerns and very quick to respond. We will be using them again for our future plans to South Asia. High recommend, both Mai and Ha were amazing!! Thank you for planning a memorable trip!!!”

“20 Day Tour of Thailand & Laos My girlfriend and I booked a 20-day tour in Thailand with Exotic Voyages from mid January to mid February 2020. Their interface was very easy to use - we had to specify a budget, the types of things we were interested in doing on vacation, and when we wanted to go...from that information, our planner at Exotic put together a pretty detailed itinerary spanning 5 cities in 20 days. Everything was taken care of (drivers, guides, accomodations) - in many ways, this was the least effort either of us have ever put into a vacation. Our planner, Ha, put together things that we probably never would have thought to try, but were fabulous (ex: staying at a boutique camp on top of a mountain in Khao Sok, a traditional Thai cooking class that turned out to be a full day activity). The accommodations were great. And at the end of the trip, when our flight home was cancelled due to the coronavirus issue, the operational support team helped us find a place to stay in Phuket longer and arranged transportation for us. I highly recommend this group.”

“Trois semaines de dépaysement et de découvertes en Birmanie Découverte très intéressante de ce mystérieux pays. Nous avions sollicité Trang par la plateforme Evaneos pour l'organisation de ce voyage, et nous revenons très contents de ce périple fort bien construit. Hébergements, transports, visites guidées et trek : tout a été bien choisi et a fonctionné comme prévu. Nous avons pu nous promener seuls à notre guise pendant certaines journées, accompagnés pour certaines visites à d'autres moments (et pour le trek) , ceci correspondait tout à fait à nos attentes, bien comprises par Trang. Merci beaucoup pour les bons conseils et l'organisation, ce fut un beau voyage !”

“Wonderful 12 days in Vietnam !!! After much online research we opted for a 12 day personal tour of Vietnam offered by Exotic Voyages. Our travel coordinator was Hoa Tran and we could not have been more pleased. ...our trip included Hanoi, Mai Chau, Han La Bay, Hoi An, Saigon and Mekong Delta. We let Hoa know what type of travelers we were and what we would like to see and do; she took it from there and arranged a wonderful trip for us. Her personal recommendations/suggestions made our trip even more special. We has an opportunity to take cooking classes, meet several local families and truly experience Vietnamese culture. Our entire trip was arranged online and any questions/concerns were answered promptly. Our hotels were lovely, tours fun and exciting and our guides/drivers knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend paying a little extra for the Visa expediting upon arrival...this made our entry smooth and fast. We especially loved the cruise of Han La Bay overnight from Heritage Cruise Lines and the Vietnam By Scooters Food Tour in Saigon. Not to be missed. Thank you Exotic Voyages, we look foward to our next journey to South East Asia.”

“Exotic Voyages Hanoi, Amazing Experience!! We just kicked off our tour of South East Asia yesterday in Hanoi with Exotic Voyages. Our experience so far beginning right from the airport had been seem less. We skipped the lines and were at our hotel within 45 mins. Our guide Trung was absolutely amazing and the itinerary for the day had us immersed in the culture of the countryside in the morning, walking the streets of the Old Quarter in the afternoon and a nighttime scooter tour of famous landmarks along with a delicious tasting menu at a local restaurant. Trung was so informative throughout the course of the whole day. He loves his City and it really shows. His knowledge of the history of Vietnam’s past along with his stories of growing up in Hanoi made for a wonderful day. I can not say enough good things about the trip so far expect they have exceeded our expectations and we are only 2 days in. Next stop Ha Long Bay!!!”

“Rundreise Myanmar 1 Woche mit privatem Guide Sensationell!!! Wir hatten einen deutschsprachigen Guide der uns vom Hotel in Mandalay abgeholt hat und eine Woche alles für uns geregelt hat. Er war durch Exotic Voyages (Quynh Hoa hat unsere Reise zusammengestellt) ausgesucht worden. Wir waren in Bagan, haben eine Ballonfahrt gemacht, diverse Tempel und Pagoden besichtigt, 2 Radtouren unternommen, Mount Popa bestiegen, Inle-See, auf dem wir auch genächtigt haben mit diversen Ausflügen. Unterwegs waren wir mit Auto, Flugzeug, zu Fuß, mit (sehr guten) Mountain-Bikes und Rückfahrt mit Schlafbus nach Mandalay. Alles, wirklich alles hat super geklappt, großes Lob an Hoa, an Evaneos und vor allem Jo, unseren Guide. Wir kommen wieder - keine Frage. Danke für alles! Gisela und Karsten aus Hamburg”

“Perfect Honeymoon My wife and I were getting married in January 2020 and we knew we wanted to take our honeymoon in South East Asia. In typically fashion, I had procrastinated the trip planning and only first stated looking into every in mid November 2019. I first came across Exotic Voyages (EV) through a simple google search. It was literally one of the best things I could have done. From the first communication with EV, everything was super simple. We were contacted by travel designer Lucy (Thu Hang). She was fanstastic. We were interested in one of the pre-packages trips "Paradise Unotuched" in Thailand with a few modifications. Lucy was super attentive to our wishes and seamlessly made the changes we wanted. Within a few days the entire trip, including international flights, was taken care of and all we needed to do was send payment. Now to the trip/honeymoon itself. Everything was planned PERFECTLY. Every flight, tour/excursion, transportation was perfectly planned out. We had some issues with out first flight being delayed, which caused us to miss our layover. I emailed Lucy to advise her and she was immediately responsive and relayed the information to the individuals who were meeting us when we arrived in Thailand. We landed in Bangkok and were immediately greeted by an individual with a sign with our names, who then walked us through fast tracked customs (it took 5 minutes!). We were then escorted outside to an english speaking guide and driver ready to take us to our hotel. This is how the entire trip went. Every step of the way we had an english speaking guide and driver waiting for us. All we needed to do was walk down to the hotel lobby at the time provides to us and there was someone waiting for us. The accomadations Lucy picked for us were fantastic. We stayed at Hotel Muse in Bangkok, Na Nirand in Chiang Mai, Koyao Island Resort in Ko Yao Noi, and Sri Panwa in Phuket. Each hotel was fanstisic and very different from each other. We had four completely different types of experiences. Mark, the EV regional manager personally came to our hotel in Bangkok to drop off a beautiful gift from EV. Bangkok was very cityish, Chiang Mai was classy and full of Thai traditions, Ko Yao was rustic and beautiful (we stayed in a tent villa with a fanstic view!) and Phuket was more modern and beach resort like. Each one was better than the next. As for the tours/excursions Lucy planned - hands down made the trip. Again, each one showed a little bit different side of Thailand. We toured Bangkok on Tuk Tuks and saw night markets and street vendors. We went to various temples in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, including a private blessing from a Monk. In Ko Yao we had a private candle lit dinner arrange by the beach. And in Phuket we took a kayak tour in, around, and through the various islands and caves. Every aspect was priceless. Every guide/driver we met was so so so nice. They were all super knowledgeable about the areas we were headed and provides so much insight in the land and culture of Thailand, which really made the trip and provide us with such an appreciation for the country. And throughout the two weeks we were there, Lucy periodically checked in on us to make sure everything was going well (which it absolutely was). The ONLY downside, which is at no fault of anyone, was the fact that to travel from NY to Thailand, we were on flights for 20+ each way. But it was unequivocally worth every second on those flights for the experience we had in Thailand. We cannot thank EV and Lucy enough for putting together a picture-perfect honeymoon. It was such an amazing way to celebrate our new marriage and it was an experience will NEVER forget. The trip felt so personal and EV and Lucy treated us with such great service and sincerely wanted us to enjoy our time. We hope to travel to South East Asia again in the future and when we do EV will be our first call. I cannot recommend them enough!”
