“I have purchased multiple Guess purses over the years. I bought one recently and the strap broke off of it after only a couple times of using it. Clearly a defective purse. I reached out to customer service and they stated that because it was over 30 days (it had been like 45 days) they can’t do anything about it. No apology, no coupon code provided, nothing. I work in customer service and this is very poor service. Not only that, but when I reached out, they kept transferring me to different people who gave me very different answers. They finally had a supervisor follow up with me and the supervisor told me there was nothing that could be done and that I’m stuck with a broken purse. I didn’t even want a refund, just a replacement or maybe even a credit to go towards something else. Something! So disappointed.”
“To the Management Team – Guess India,
I am writing this email out of sheer frustration and disappointment with the absolutely unacceptable delivery experience associated with my recent order.
For multiple consecutive days, I received SMS and email notifications stating “Out for Delivery.” Each day ended with another false update claiming “Delivery Attempt Failed – Customer Unavailable.” Let me state this clearly: we were at home the entire day on each of those dates. No one rang the doorbell. No one called. No one showed up.
These updates are not just inaccurate — they are blatantly false.
After receiving zero meaningful assistance from Guess India’s customer service (apart from a generic “ticket has been raised” email with no follow-up or urgency), I was forced to investigate on my own. I then attempted to contact Delhivery customer service, which was equally unresponsive and ineffective.
Through independent effort, I managed to find the delivery agent’s contact details via the Delhivery website. The agent, Sarvesh, ignored multiple calls. When he finally answered (on a recorded line, as he mentioned), he openly admitted that delivery could not be made because he did not have a vehicle and had not even carried the parcel for delivery.
Let that sink in.
Despite this, I was sent official emails claiming delivery failed due to “no response from customer.” How is it acceptable for your logistics partner to send fabricated delivery attempt notifications when no attempt was made in the first place?
There was:
No delivery attempt.
No call made from the agent.
No apology for the false updates.
No accountability.
No urgency from Guess India despite full online payment already being made.
As a paying customer who completed 100% advance payment, I expected professionalism, transparency, and at minimum basic courtesy. Instead, I received misleading communication, zero ownership, and complete indifference.
Guess India needs to seriously evaluate the delivery standards and accountability mechanisms of its logistics partner. If Delhivery cannot assign delivery agents with functioning vehicles, then customers should not be subjected to false tracking updates and fabricated failure messages.
This entire experience has been exhausting and unacceptable.
I request a senior member from the management team to personally review this case and contact me at the earliest. This is not just about one parcel — it is about credibility, customer trust, and basic service integrity.
Looking forward to a prompt and responsible response.
Sincerely,
Rohan Dandekar”
“Seriously ???? Guess Canada is running out of shoes or bags. out of stock. out of stock. out of stock. out of stock. is that a new product from Guess" out of stock" ?? Why is it even showing in the feed though if u don't have anything available. just wasting of people. |Terrible”
“I'm utterly flabbergasted at the level of service I've received from this company. I've been a loyal Guess customer for over 10 years and initiated an online order for the first time over a week ago.
After entering the apt number in the field, I noticed the apt number was missing on the order confirmation.
I reached out several times to request the information be updated and didn't hear back until it was too late.
The order ended up being delivered to the incorrect address and when I reached out to request a replacement order, they mentioned that I would need to order again in order to be refunded for the previous order.
When I asked to just be refunded, they told me to file a dispute with my bank as they cannot assist.
Protocol or not, the customer service is horrendous and has caused Guess to lose a customer.”
“Worst shopping experience I’ve ever had with a big brand. I placed an order on 11 August (GE07849742) and it never arrived. I chased customer service almost every week, but every time I got a different excuse. After wasting weeks, I asked for a refund on 25 August, but by 3 September I was told the refund was only “requested that day” and I’d have to wait another 5–7 days.
Absolutely unacceptable – Guess had both my money and my product for weeks. The customer service is a joke: sometimes they don’t reply at all, other times I waited hours for an answer. Quality is no better either – a dress I bought before had to be returned after 2 hours because the stitches came undone.
Guess is behaving more like a scam than a trusted fashion brand. I’ll never shop here again and I’ll be warning others too.”
“first time to order from GUESS and my order was canceled with no reason whatsoever. never ever gonna order anything from them again. Disappointed fr. smh”
“Order made and nobody knows where it is? Was gave multiple excuses by webchat but nobody could confirm if it had even left their warehouse!
As a Christmas present it is no good now so I asked for a refund and was told no wait until it does come (if it does) and return!
No acknowledgement that this is on them and I am out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
Their phone number is an automated robot and the Web chat people just make excuses! Desperate to keep your money! Shameful shoddy service!
So I have no order and they still have my money!”
“Made bag return after month of purchase, got new but it was already damaged but noticed it at home. When returned back to the store with complaint, colsultant said that I damaged it by knife or so, but I just unpacked at home. Don't recommend all guess things, very bad quality”
