“I'm giving one star for this review of Jigsaw's customer service, because it's impossible to give it zero.
I bought a jumper online from Jigsaw for my mum for Christmas. Buying it and getting the 15% proffered discount was bad - it took multiple emails and long waits between each one to finally get the discount applied so I could buy it.
Then, she washed it for the first time, following the guidelines of handwash only. It shrank. Since then, I have spent six weeks attempting to get someone to engage with my on returning it. Frankly, it has been the most sickening , utterly disgusting, pointless version of 'customer service' that I have ever encountered. I could see from the beginning that they had no intention of giving me my money back, but I carried on trying. They got their way, and I am screwed, even though the jumper was wasked according to the instructions, with £90 down the drain.
I do not recommend ever buying anything from this shop, in-person or online, as if anything goes wrong with the product you will probably give up trying to take it back as it is almost impossible to find a human and when you do, they talk like a robot and respond with weeks between messages, and if you do persist, you'll be out of pocket and very stressed in the end.
Jigsaw is a terrible company. Buy from Whistles, White Company, even M&S - all of which have excellent no quibble returns, versus this absolutely horror show. I am never buying from Jigsaw again. I hope it goes out of business.”
“We purchased a 150 piece Dinosaur jigsaw from you in the autumn intending to give it to our granddaughter at Christmas. We sent it to her but on Christmas Day when she opened it she was upset to find it and the inside of the box mouldy. Believing Jaques to be a good firm we expected some redress but despite sending a photo of the damaged item and bank statement details of our purchase we have been denied redress because we “didn’t keep proof of postage”! This is shocking. Nobody should be expected to keep such records when Jaques will no doubt have their own. We are disgusted. The puzzle is mouldy. We sent proof. Jaques makes the puzzle. Jaques is at fault!”
“Fantastic products (2 x velvet jeans), very quick delivery and easy return. Not so happy that they send me a 10% off email the day after, which on £180 was worth having. Rang customer services who said they couldn't refund the 10% 'as they didn't have access to that part of the system'. I find that a bit incredible. So I ordered again with the discount code and sent the other trousers back. Bit ridiculous carry on and it cost Jigsaw another postage and a return postage but there you go.”

Called store, placed order and shoes arrived the next day. An efficient and 'joined-up' service, courteous and helpful - very happy customer!”
