"I purchased Marathon watch from WatchShop. Paid over \u00a3700, the watch was advertised as a brand new one.I received clearly used watch with unscrewed crown and the original Marathon box was broken and stained with coffee. My assumption is someone had returned this watch and WhatchShop resold it as a new one. The box had totally broken hinges and had a big dent. WhatchShop returned money after my email but did not even offered to reimburse postage cost or some additional compensation for wasting my time. Now they promised to refund postage costs but I'm yet to receive any money from them. Reviews on trustpilot are mainly positive one but if you read some reviews online on independent forums, there are lots of customers conned by WatchShop in a similar way. WhatShop seems to be sending quite a few used\/ broken watches which they advertised as brand new ones. This seems to be some sort of scam they run. Really disappointing."
