Received an order today which I needed for lunch. Nectarines were packed right at the bottom of the bag and are totally mushed. Called helpline only to be told that I need to take a picture and send email and fruit will not be replaced today. Shocking system and service. Pick & pay would have immediately sent a driver to replace the fruit. This is the service which should be expected. Woolies can learn a thing from them. I now have a double inconvenience to have to write a email and to have to go to the shops to buy new fruit.

Good day, I was so very pleased to buy a 250 grm pack of seedless raisins that were actually named on the pack! I love the "crimson" grape and the the " sweet joy / golden" says it all. I am baking a frugal Christmas cake in a small Bundt pan, just adding pecan nuts to decorate and little chips inside. I will be using the local Gideon stone ground flour, oil/ milk, no eggs, but def brandy! Do you stock pumpkin spice? I do keep Ceylon cinnamon but don't need big amounts of the 3 others. Thankyou to staff of Woolworths for my quality pack of 3 varieties of grape raisins!! 🍇🎄

Worst customer experience with the app!!! There is always items out of stock and you are not notified while they are adding the items, they don’t even replace the items, cannot track the shopping as the app never works and you wait hours for your order! Will not order from Woolies again! Worst experience! Checkers60 is absolutely amazing and reliable!

i have been reporting since Saturday that i was charged R900 for southernfried chicken instead of the price on the item.of R94. It seems that the urgency of this refund is not important to your business. Im still waiting for my refund. If any of my other payments bounce are you paying my bank charges?

Sad to receive such a bad service at a woolies that I use on a daily went in to get myself some wings and a salad dressing on my lunch break fair enough they told me to wait for about 5 min will they being prepared I had no problem with that, however to be served last while other customers that found me there waiting got served right in front of me after being told to wait even over 5 min was I not being called "Chomi"are you also waiting for wings honestly I am beyond disappointed by our fellow sales Associates.

Unacceptable. The mobile app, whose funtionalty is so far below par, let alone, against the "Woolworths standard". The call center agent was also unable to answer basic questions, and lacked the nous to understand: when you're assisting with a mobile app issue, don't advise on navigation applicable to use of the web interface.... One of a a few here. Despite her shortcomings, I felt sorry for her, as she's assisting with a product that is known for its failure on myriad delivery outcomes. Setting your staff up for failure is demoralising, to say the least. The quality of telecomms also was a negative contributing factor. Woolworths, for the values, quality, integrity, standards and prices you preach/maintain, this is a failure. Surely, you have access to the internal and/or external resources that can deliver an app with the required functionalty 99.99%? If you did a survey of a sample set of your customer base that has been forced to find an alternative, albeit, "second-prize" online supplier, I'm sure the loss of sales on that alone would be material. I'm not accounting for long-term losses, brand deteriration impacts, etc. You need to do better.

Woolworths really needs to fix their Dash App. It either hangs or the payment process does not work. I tried twice last night and twice this morning to make delivery purchases on the app. On all four occasions, I approved the transactions on my banking app and the amounts were debited off my cheque account account, but did not register on Woolworths side. So now I have four amounts amounting to R3061.22 debited off my account without any order number or confirmed order. There have been NUMEROUS complaints about your APP and the same issues keep recurring. The Checkers 60 60 app is never down, it works perfectly - Woolworths needs to up their game. I spent an hour in total this morning between calls to Woolworths Online and Absa to try and get this resolved. My air time, my time and a huge inconvenience. There are always issues with the app just hanging or payments not going through. Come on Woolworths, you can do better!

Actually i love Woolworths on the overall but … tried to find a bra online and in the store size 34 dd and not one of the many styles i chose did they have in stock. Please could you look into that. The stock range for the whole of the western cape.

I am beyond disappointed. I ordered 17 items and only 4 were delivered yesterday. I called and was told 2 boxes were delivered when I only received 1box. I called the driver who came and he told me he only was given 1 box so WHERE ARE MY BABY CLOTHES? Can I get urgent assistance as I'm stuck with no baby clothes and about to give birth with no direction or explanation. On the app it shows that items were delivered when I received nothing. This is appalling and heartbreaking as clearly my items are either missing or stolen. Can this please be resolved. Reference number is 46464289. Order number is o1722549547.

Horrible experience with online order. Order placed on the 1st of December, delivery date was 6th. Apparently the courier came on the 4th without any prior notification , I was not home and without even calling they just left . Status updated ‘we couldnt find you in the provided adress’. Since then everyday the parcel is out for delivery then nothing happens, called customer care numerous times without any resolution. At this point I think i will never receive it. It was worth just above 1000 Rand. Never never going to Woolworth again. Rather go to zara or forevernew.

If I could give a - 0 I would. PLEASE read this before applying for a credit application. They falsely advertise R2000 voucher. Please see the attached photo “ catch” of the century. Woolworths is STEALING from customers. Please use your common senses before falling like I did! It is a SCAM

I ordered slippers but received Bra's instead. I notified WOOLWORTHS immediately and they promised to fix this as it was not my problem. 2 weeks later I am here with an order that doesn't belong to me and many "we are sorry" messages from WOOLWORTHS. Their online service is very very bad I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It cause frustrations and emotional stress

We got 2 pairs of Champagne tumblers from Woolies, unfortunately the coating for the black Manna tumblers is peeling where the gold tumblers is perfectly fine. Just disappointed for its very expensive and one expects it will last.

I bought shoes and only wore them for 2mins went back home to take them off because they where uncomfortable and i couldn't walk in them returned them today for an exchange they told me because i had worn them and they cant resell them

Beyond Disappointing
I am beyond livid. I booked and payed for the 10-13:00 Time slot for my delivery. Phoned customer service 3 times and spoke to the store customer service said the delivery would be dispatched from 9 times. Just for them to say they cant reach the driver, then they said they would repick my order and send it at 14:15. At 16:45 I got a call from the fresh department manager saying they would escalate my order to Monday. I had to go to a store to buy alternative Sunday lunch vegetables and meat and had to get stuff for school and work lunch packs. Might I add that this was all part of my delivery. I will not wait 10 days for a refund if thw money went out of my account in 10 seconds.

I am experiencing the worst woolworths customer service. I swear this retail store needs proper online training if this is a business opportunity they want to excel n. Haven’t received my ordered kids clothes in more than two weeks an getting frustrated with the daily calls and emails……Too much prices for ridiculous service. I have never experienced such horrific experience.

I ordered a few things on the 30th June and they were delivered just not to me, so basically I didn't get my order. I contacted woolies Dash and spoke to a Bongi, Unathi and others who promised to call back with the status of my refund, it's now the 10th July 2024 and I still haven't received my refund.

What a disgrace of a service provided to loyal clients. 11 x emails- no replies at all, web complaints submission x5 - no replies, 7 x international calls to customer services - and no agent is trained and competent to deal with my complaints, 4 hour long online Whatsapp Chat with allocated agent - no resolution other that he is raising my concerns with management. Woolworth Financial services has the worst professional ethics and service recovery. I was deducted an unapproved amount of R19 000.00 When this was in questioned and transparency requested, I as advised to wait as there needs to be an official investigation lodged and then reviewed - despite the transactions being evitable on my statements. When requested to have the incorrect debit order funds refunded, I am advised to wait 5 -7 working days. This is unacceptable! In the meantime I am a single mother working abroad, the only bread-winner in the house and as a result of incorrect R19 000 deductions, I am falling short on other financial obligations and missed payments. I find it unhuman that any person has to wait for refunds on errors like this. It breaks my heart that Woolworth would expect my children to sleep hungry for 5 - 7 days until they can correct their errors. There is a massive difference between R1096 vs R19 000 None of the staff were competent to provide clarity or feedback. I am shocked. Woolworths do not deliver on their promises and lack cliental support - not even Eskom delivers this level of low effort customer services. There should be a ZERO star rating for companies like this!

I purchased this magic eraser multi purpose micro scrubber from Woolworths to was dishes. It broke in half on the first day. The other half went flat within the same day of use resulting in me having to throw it away. This sponge was much more expensive than your normal sponges. This is therefore,very disappointing.

Woolworths deliberately misled me in an attempt to promote and increase the sales of an international skincare brand called Erborian. I never purchase Erborian from Woolworths and this promotion, which I see as a binding agreement between two parties, was only entered into because of a proffered and promised free gift, Ginseng Infusion, +|- R1400. You had to buy two participating Erborian products in order to receive the free gift, which I did. The promotional jargon on their app and acknowledged by their staff could not be clearer. The free gift was also only available while stocks last and I checked that there was stock available before entering into this “deal”. Side note, I purchase Erborian through another retailer and also online and free samples are common place as is custom with brands. Imagine my surprise when my two products arrived and in the place of the Ginseng Infusion, a microscopic 5ml sample. I immediately contacted them and as is also not a new thing with Woolworths customer care, they didn’t understand what was wrong with the free gift and wanted proof of the still visible promotion. They are deliberately playing dumb. I sent through everything and now they are ghosting me. Well, the dismissive, arrogant and appalling way they have dealt with this has resulted in me taking measures and I will open a case against them with the relevant Ombudsman. False advertising in order to increase sales is one thing, but if you still have the temerity to not rectify the situation by upholding your end of an agreement or offer a reasonable apology, then you need a reality check. They have become too big for their breeches and people have become complacent and let’s be honest, they are incredibly expensive and I demand good and fair and honest service for that kind of money.. and so should you!

The Woolies Dash drivers are maniacs and do not obey the road rules at all. I managed to stop the one driver after he skipped about 6 stop streets and he was very rude to me and wanted to report me - for what I am not sure ? Really Wooolworhts if you have your logo on a service you should ve responsible - half of them do not even have licenses !!! Shaughn 082 7847966

Bought a chicken, mayo and avo roll from Woolworths Sandton City. Was so dry that i had to drink water in the car to wash it down after each bite, the avo was just placed on the side of the roll, therefore the whole side was messed with avo. The most disappointing roll i have ever had at woolworths, their quality is definately going down. Told the manager the next day that i was so hungry and had left the centre so ate it, showed him pictures that i took of the quality, he just says he will tell the staff as there is a way to make the rolls, no apologies, nothing, think i better look at other places to shop. Woolworths is loosing the one thing they had, customer service.

After so many emails regarding ladies underwear I have been ignored totally by Woolworths.I get a response saying an agent will contact me but still nothing.I have been asked to send my underwear as proof after I wrote that Woolworths sells cheap material for ladies panties that after a few washes the hems come off.I am still waiting for the technologist to reply as to why this is happening but still nothing.They have my panties with them.Do now what??Are the making my panties ????This is really bad,at least let me know what the technologist found out about the material .I hope someone from Woolworths will read this and take notice.
