“I would definitely not recommend car chase I did a driving experience we’re i paid for extra laps but didn’t get the extra laps that I paid for also I was told I would go out in the car betwy11-1pm but didn’t go out to 2pm then had to wait another 45 mins for the fast passenger ride and also one off the members off staff spoke to me very rude when I asked when am I going to be going out and they restrict the cars so when you put your foot down the acceleratoru pedal only goes half way down also they over book so on the day there is so many cars which holds you up and there is fast passenger rides so you have to keep slowing down and pulling over to the right to let them past
I have done over 10 driving experience this is definitely the worst I would not go with car chase, the best driving experience is either thuxton silverstone or Mercedes world at brooklands there very good.”
“I had an awesome day at Castle Combe. I drove the GT350 Mustang, the Ford GT40 and the Dodge Hellcat which blew me away, would definitely recommend it, all the staff were brilliant. I also had the fast lap as a passenger in a BMW which was insane, hell of a day.”

“I was quite apprehensive as I had seen a lot of bad reviews but was pleasantly surprised how good and organised the day was at Carver barracks. The staff were all friendly and the wait time between cars was only about 20 minutes. Despite the rain and quite a potholed track you was encouraged to drive quite fast so all in all a good day out.”

“Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Unable to redeem my voucher online I called the office. A woman answered very abruptly. No “Good afternoon, how may I help you” as you would expect. I was told she would have to give me a code but needed the date, time, place and car choice. Having given the date I was rudely interrupted asking for the rest of the information. I had that If only she had just let me finish. Eventually I conveyed the information. I was given a bunch of add ons and prices. Without a moment to consider she wanted me to make a decision. She said she couldn’t hear me properly and hung up??? Thankfully I was able to go to the buy a gift site and exchange my voucher. If you have trouble hearing, take the customers number and call them back, don’t get aggressive. I am on the autistic spectrum so do need clarity. I’m sure the tone was unintentional and some customer service training would be beneficial…”
“Very hard to book a date, paid extra £25 so we could get a suitable date.
My son got his first car within 15 min of being booked in which we thought great, we should be in and out within the hour.
Over 1 hour n half later he was called for his second car and then about 45 min later for his 3rd, ridiculous, nearly 3 hours we were there & it was pouring down with rain, very unorganised.
Went to view the videos & photo's, hardly any decent photos, and in the 2nd car the escort didn't even start the camera.
In the 3rd car, the escort spent more time taking over the steering instead of my son, not much of a driving experience.
Very disappointing experience.
We have got another one booked next month which we've had to pay an extra £20 for a suitable date but I won't be booking anymore!”

“The Mercedes GTR AMG was not running despite it being pre-booked. No call or other communication to tell us, it was a case of drive 100 miles only to be told then. The replacement was good, but not the merc. I booked 2 drives for 6 miles each. The first was only 3 miles although Hallie on reception was amazing. Car Chase Heroes, count yourselves lucky you gave someone who sorted the matter out extremely efficiently. Well done Hallie. The second drive was good, despite the problem my wife loved it. The final side given by a track driver was good but it was not in the BMW we booked.”
“Paid for a photo for my son. The girl said the photo will be emailed that day. It's been a week and my son keeps asking for his photo. I have phoned many times, and nobody ever answers the phone.
I have emailed and and have heard nothing back. Really bad customer service. Not going to let them take 10pounds for free, it's the principle, and for my son's first driving experience.”
“Terrible , the kids bought me this red letter day as a present in 2022 , was unable to book , website didn't work , couldn't get through on the phone so I extended the voucher for 50 quid .
Then I wasted 3 days trying to book , nothing available.
I did get through once on the phone and was told give it another month for the new dates to come out.
Then wasted loads of time trying to book over a 6 week period . Then I started to read the reviews and the idea of having to wait around for hours for a 5 minute drive , while sharing the track with 12 year olds at 30 mph just put me completely off . I've let the voucher lapse.
Good riddance, what a relief.
Interestingly if you extend the voucher you only get a 9 months extension which in my case would be to end of May, so even if I was able to book before the voucher ran out , if I booked a date after May I would need to extend the voucher again so it would be current at the time of the experience other wise you get asked to pay the voucher cost again.

“Impossible to book , then you extend the voucher, they never pick up the phone .
You have to make sure that the voucher is in date not only when you book but when you go for your experience. This makes life very tricky as my original voucher was dated August I couldn't find any dates that suited, so I had to extend the voucher. BUT the extension is for 9 months only , so that takes it to May of the next year this means if you were able to book an experience , even if booked before the voucher expired, if it was booked for after May you would need to extend the voucher again.

We all drove articulated Lorry and trailer manoeuvres, reversing, turning and parking, bay parking general manoeuvres, lasting approximately twenty minutes good engagement with instructor Megan who each of us got on very well with she gave good clear instructions and guidance with a friendly informal approach
Would recommend this experience as a different driving experience to understand the difference in dynamics of a large yet still powerful vehicle in its own right also smooth this one being fifteen years old. So it’s not all about flash cars

I booked a driving experience day with Car Chase Heroes for July 12th which I made in February 2024. I knew they had received my booking because two days later they emailed me asking for my experience day voucher number which I promptly replied with and was assured by them everything was booked. On July 11th at 10:45 pm (the night before my driving day experience). I received a text message from the company to "remind" me that my driving experience wouldn't go ahead tomorrow and ensure I have checked my email including spam.
Confused, I then proceeded to check my emails thoroughly and could not find any email regarding my track day not going ahead. Suddenly I received an email at 11 pm (15 minutes later) regarding my track day not going ahead due to a last-minute cancellation by the circuit and Car Chase Heroes moved my experience day in September. Car Chase Heroes however wittingly decided to insert a sender, subject, and date into the body of the email with a date that states 27th June, my inbox shows a timestamp of when the email came through and it states 11 July 2024 23:01. Once I received the email I replied demanding a refund as it was unacceptable to notify me the night before my driving experience of this cancellation. They argued that they didn't notify me last minute and that the email was sent out on June 27th, they cannot issue me a refund either and I would need to reschedule my event day. The funny thing is, none of the emails sent before or after that email were written in the same format with a sender, subject, and date in the body of the email.
I intend not to do any more business with this company that lacks integrity and can only fault myself for not doing my due diligence by reading other reviews from people who have been stung by Car Chase Heroes. I would urge everyone to look elsewhere to book a driving experience day.”

“Been waiting 3 years after redeeming my voucher to actually get to drive what I'm supposed to. Each time it's either the cars aren't available today but they let you book, they cancel the event and move it to another time without checking to see if you can attend or not, there's a strict no refund policy which explains why Tim Roche is probably so rich. Personally I'd advise against ever getting one of these vouchers. Organisers on the day seem in chaos, the ques are phenomenal that you get to hear how others have been waiting years to get their experience and then your stuffed if the car stops working. Apparently its in the small print! DO NOT BUY THESE VOUCHERS FOR LOVED ONES...IT'S A DISAPOINTING PRESENT YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TO KEEP TRYING TO DO.”
“Unfortunately my son never got to go on the experience as the admin team take far too long to reply to emails - 8 days! Extra costs also involved if you want to enjoy the experience. This was a birthday gift from his grandparents and we have given up trying to book now.
No dates were offered for the preferred track (30mins drive) so had to go with another track which was a 3hr drive away. Therefore booked a hotel to make a weekend out of it only to have the session cancelled by car chase heroes.
Rescheduled session and hotel only to have the 2nd session cancelled again by car chase heroes.
Booked for a 3rd time but unable to go due to my son obtaining an injury which prevented him from travelling let along being a passenger in a car on a track. When asked if we could reschedule, we were advised we would have to pay a cancellation fee as we hadn't taken the insurance. This I would normally not argue with but we had the previous sessions cancelled by them.
Also you have to pay extra for weekend sessions and extra laps to make the distance of travel worth it.”
