“Love my new oak fireplace mantel beam. The product is as advertised. Delivery was fast and carefully packaged. While it looked like an impossible task to fit it on the wall, it turned out to be super simple, holes were pre-drilled and all fittings were supplied. Probably need 2 people to lift the beam into position. Great quality piece and professionally finished. Exceeded my expectations. Thank you”

“First time having a beam in our house so was a little sceptical about what to expect? Thankfully Cottage Beams supplied e with the mot perfect / ideal beam. The product was just like shown on their website so we were not disappointed in the slightest. Great product, great price and speedy delivery. Oh, and l’m a very fussy person.”

“When my beam first arrived I didn't particularly like the colour i had chosen but once it was up on the wall it looked Lovely i can't praise it enough also very easy to install”

“Fast delivery - great communication, looks amazing in place thank you! Only criticism I would have is potentially make it clearer how the plasterboard fixings or the masonry fixings work to allow customers to make the correct selection. I selected plasterboard originally as I had a chimney breast which had been dot and dab plaster boarded and plastered. But on speaking to Shirley who was really helpful she identified I might be better off with the masonry fixings. So she sent me out both types so I could use whichever I saw fit which arrived super quick so can’t complain there. Overall great product and service. thank you!”

“So thrilled with my oak beam. It arrived well packed and was easy to put up. Looks stunning. My only wish would have been to have a deeper ledge as I can only put little items on it but I did manage to put my Christmas decoration on it and it looks lovely!”

“Very pleased with the quality and finish of the floating mantlepiece and the metal brackets. Had a slight problem with the plastic raw plugs supplied but had some large stronger 'Grip-its' (for a cavity wall) which I found more secure for the weight of the wood.”
